I don't think Julie Snyder works with Celine anymore Idk but I distinctly remember bringing this up at some point was it here or facebook? And someone said she doesn't work with her anymore so maybe Julie isn't a good idea. I still believe we will need a larger audience they won't take us seriously with just let's say 50 of us. That's why I think we should wait a little longer and please anyone with a social media account or good contacts please pass the info along to other Celine accounts who are willing to help us.

Sending an email with a 2 page info pdf will for sure get ignored. No one in her team will want to read a detailed work proposal sent by fans.


If you want to be heard it has to be an effort from everyone. Every fan has to send an email so that they see the demand. It also has to happen for more than one day.
And we definitely do need to get the word spread on social media with other Celine fans. But we need to spread the word once we have a well planned campaign, with the time and date/s to bombard TC with emails. If we go to other fan sites now it will become a mess.

I suggest making a graphic poster that easily delivers the message (top 3 shows we want released on DVD or streaming. That's it) and then have everyone that sends an email to TC also attach the poster. That way in every email they receive they get a personal message from the individual fan and they also see this poster. So even if they don't want to read the text sent in the email they still see the poster and know exactly what the email is about.

The simpler the campaign the better it'll be received.

Once everything is set and done we could have one person send a message to Pepe with the petition, on the same day we send the emails. Pepe for sure reads comments and messages, we've seen him interact with Celine fans before. Plus he's very close to Celine and I'm sure he'd inform her of this fan campaign.

we don’t have to give them the exact number of votes. Just write „on behalf of all Celine fans around the world“

I would suggest this letter AND SIMULTANEOUSLY a huge social media campaign with a hashtag that we have to make go viral the day we send the letter, or even the day before. The fans must raise everyone’s awareness in her team and ideally in the media too.

I love it! It's attention grabbing, and it has the gist of what we're after. I do like Tyler's idea of taking performances from different shows on the tour(s) to get a patchwork kind of collection of her finest performances.. we should include that as an option!


Here's an idea:

I think we should also have a vote for what our hashtag will be and what date we want to launch this campaign. I think Valentine's Day would have to be a nominee, since it's a very memorable date for everybody and because Céline Dion is all about love. Our hashtag could be something simple like #weloveceline (or maybe something more specific to the release?) and we can all post the graphic along with the hashtag.

If there is one it has to be 2016. It is THE most important to have.

But honestly i think that we should propose something serious, we should outline all of the aforementioned releases with details how to put it (do the work for them apart from sending the dvd to production). There should be a justification why a particular release is relevant (and all of them are). So not only what to include/what we expect but also WHY...

And as for tour 2017 it has to be explicit that we need both French and English version especially that they DO have both of them.

Good but I think images of one or all the shows we'll be asking for be used instead of a Vegas image. And specify live 2017-english concert.

As for the hashtag I actually do like #sayyes
Short, catchy, relevant to her, and it's asking them to accept our petition.

All the slogans sound great. My suggestion to add into the poster can we make it clear even if not professionally recorded we will accept screen footage (idk how you will word it but I can see them using it as an excuse)

2016 was also filmed (we got some songs from various cities, even Purple Rain after a few years later, no?) so we cannot say it was NOT. It's just that the general audience was not notified about this like for 2017. I would just skip this comment but it could be written somewhere that  both (or any) audio and dvd versions of all these shows would be highly appreciated. It could be written in a statement with the points why each release is important and worth releasing. The poster itself should be short.

And still, I think we should enlist all the shows/tours versions  on the poster (without Courage, it's still "on" but with both versions of 2017, "Celine", etc.) and then in the paper say which are most voted for. I know everything shouldn't be long but we have to present as many options as possible because if they see 3 and don't like any of them, then it's a no, but if there are more options to choose from, they might go for one out of ... 10 or so

If you don't mind @Celine Fan 77 I made a poster myself jumping off from what you made. I used most of the text format you came up with but I tried to steer away from any wording that sounds like we're telling them what to do. I've also added the hashtag I think we should use (it can be changed if we come up with something else).

I was thinking we can also make a smaller banner to use on twitter and instagram.

Personally, I’m hoping they release Hyde Park. Ideally on Netflix but even on YouTube would be great.

Also... luckily, Celine is known for love ballads and Valentines Day is just around the corner. So February could be the perfect Celine Dion comeback month if her team makes some smart moves.

Ok this right here YES YES AND YES for me this is key. Social media should know about it and it should allow anyone working for Celine who is on social media to know about it too. I have some of her people on my IG so I will def post something on IG once everything is finalized.

The second one is too long. Using only Celine's name makes it a more personal request.

Valentines Day is pretty good. It's a date that is easy to remember.

We don't need to mention them specifically. I was thinking the social media aspect more so because if it can gain any sort of attention from the press it will help us. I learned this from both Spice Girls fans and MJ fans with their campaigns.

We also don't need to specifically say it comes from this forum we should just say something like..." on behalf of all Celine Dion fans."

I def think we should atleast get an idea of what emails we have available to us and then we need to put together a clearly detailed plan.
