It's for sure she had it long before than December, that means she might have taken to treatment. Anyways, she wasn't ready enough to come for promotion, and they thought that it is better to release it without Celine. And thats one thing Sony did right. If they would have waited more, I'm sure the film would have lost its momentum.

SONY shouldn’t have even waited this long, The Valentine’s Day release made the most sense. It wasn’t like Celine had a bad cold, she has a very rare and unknown disorder, it was gamble to wait and the gamble didn’t pay off, if the reason was for Celine to be able to promote.

Sam said today again how this movie was a “covid baby” during the filming process… I think that’s why many of us are thinking maybe Celine filmed her parts in a different place than Sam and Priyanka, I think it was filmed in the same room while clearly practicing social distancing measures.

Is that a reschedule? I thought they were originally slated for the 4th and GMA doesn’t seem like something that would be affected by the WGA strike. Hopefully no impact on the scheduled Jennifer Hudson and WWHL appearances; not familiar with those shows but don’t think they rely on writers?

I know “The View” kind of relies on writers, is just winging the segments that are usually written.  Whoopi Goldberg made the announcement on Monday saying they’ll just do the best they can with their written notes, sort of a “bare with us” moment. I’m hoping that’s the same case with the other shows.

I might be the only one here but since her announcement in December I did not expect to hear from her for at least 6 months. So it does not feel weird she is not there. Seems very sensible to me. So I am not disappointed. Just looking forward to the soundtrack, the film, and waiting an announcement at some point in June.

I’ll rate it after I see it, and if it’s terrible I won’t rate it LOL.
I’m not gonna give it a 10/10 because Celine’s in it…. Hell her last 4 albums aren’t even 10/10.

Okay okay, good point….. ooooonly because we have to fight fire with fire. Because I still don’t like the idea of writing a review good or bad to a movie that we haven’t seen yet. But clearly they don’t mind so we gotta do what we gotta do. But what if the movie is kinda terrible?!

People gotta STOP asking these actors about Céline and how it felt to work with her. I know that this is the only way they bring Céline to the movies, but look at poor Sam and Priyanka, they've given the same answer for almost a year and are now running out of words. Probably they've been told to say that by the team. Idk. It feels pressured when they talk about Céline. I fricking miss Celine
I would give anything to see her there. God, I know this isn't possible, but I dream she suddenly comes to an interview and surprise us all!!!! I am angry at God for giving Celine this hard time.

I walked by the theatre at about 7:10. Had to be somewhere else for 7:30 so couldn’t stop for long, but saw Sam and Jim being interviewed inside, and then Priyanka and Nick arrived and Sam came out to greet them outside for photos. Didn’t spot any familiar faces from Céline world (thought maybe Dave or Denis might be around), but was only there for a few minutes. It was a pretty small affair, not many people there.
And, haven’t seen any posters around town either… Isn’t this movie supposed to take place in NYC? Because ‘round here, you wouldn’t know it’s happening at all. (Citadel is still plastered everywhere though 😏) Surprised by the promo around London but none here.
