Also her French music is significantly less pop-y...if at all?
What do you consider "pop-y"?
To me, lyrics aside, she has far more earworms in French than in English.

I'm all for French and all languages being spoken and sung, but I think it's mostly Spanish and K-Pop that would make a dent here in the United States. I can't even recall the last time I heard any other language besides those on the radio...one has to explore oneself via streaming and Youtube.
But that's precisely my point - up until a few years ago - it was just English (in the US, anyway). But pop music has become far more global, people's listening much more varied, and more based on mood (chill playlists, workout playlists, party playlists, etc) than genre or even language. Non-English music is no longer niche. It's a prevailing trend on the global market.
And it's not just music - it's true of film and TV, too. Just look at all the foreign-langue binge watching people are doing, discovering great content from all across the globe.
Parasite winning big at the Oscars was just the top of the iceberg.
Now would be the time to seize on it, for someone who's widely recognized as a multi-lingual artist.
