Thought I'd create a topic for this very interesting new song from Céline. She goes back to her haydays both vocally and song theme. Even though I personally want her to evolve and do new stuff and not get stuck in the "what has been" I cannot deny my exhilaration for the quality of the production of this song - we haven't seen this level in YEARS!

it sounds promising. the 3 songs we've had/heard snippets of all seem great. i love FOMO, i love the sia song snippet on carpool karaoke and i love this one. the album is building up to be really good.

This song is a total ear worm. It keeps playing in my head over and over. Can’t wait to hear the whole thing. Can’t wait to hear the whole ALBUM!

I think the vocals is still overpowering the instrumentals. I guess it’s humberto who produced this new song. I want the one who produced Céline in Ashes. It’s balanced.

Even though the lyrics may be a bit banal and all I really love the way she sings them… the warmth in her voice, the soul in her voice. It's beautiful in almost an eerie way. And it kinda screams soundtrack from a Shades of Grey movie - are they all done?

And I am usually very picky production wise. But I am thrilled over what I hear. I haven't hard this quality since the ANDHC days - ANDHC (radio remix), I Surrender, HYEBIL, Prayer, At Last and Nature Boy all have extraordinary production. I so wish HDYKTMP and NMQP had this treatment - may she rerecord those one day!

I just about died when I heard that snippet on Insta, it sounds absolutely incredible. It has been basically 12 years since we've had a full album in English with all new material, and so far, I'm incredibly happy with the few things we know and have heard. Cannot wait to hear this one in full!

Also for the album I hope they don't do alot of like three minute songs instead more "real" songs that is around say four and a half to five minutes.
Maybe not likely cause three minutes seems like the norm nowadays. Like Ashes 3:20 minutes feel like it hasn't started until it's over.

I know how you feel. I hope for that, too, but it does seem 3 and a half minute songs are the norm these days. Could you imagine a 7:37 song like IACBTMN??!!!
