This might be an unpopular opinion, but after hearing the verse snippets (as opposed to the very dramatic chorus snippet), I kinda understand why they didn’t include this song in Courage (or any other project for that matter). Those snippets sound very generic honestly and don’t have much to offer in terms of inspiration.

That doesn’t mean I’m ok with it rotting in the vault all these years!

I agree. I always imagined PMLALS to be bombastic through the whole song like MHWGO based on the studio snippet we heard years ago. But if it's mostly piano like Recovering (as per another user who's heard the song in full), it would me a major disappointment. Hopefully, the piano part was just a demo, and the finished product would be closer to the original snipper we had.

Courage wasn’t exactly a consistent album though. I feel like PMLALS shares a similar theme with the title track Courage, and even follows the same style (it’s a piano ballad too). That might be one of the reasons it was set aside.

But we still deserve to hear it!

The piano part seems like it’s the intro and the one that we heard years ago is around the 2nd chorus.

Radio stations and TV channels are usually given a CD with the songs from an artist's album ahead of time. Maybe PMLS was on the tracklist for Courage and was removed at the last minute.

Sure!!! But I'm almost certain they won’t give it to us no matter how much we justify it. That’s no longer something that depends on the radio station, but on Sony. Sony sends the songs in advance or unreleased tracks as demos, etc., so that the radios can prepare interviews or promote the album or single ahead of time. There’s usually strict confidentiality.

can you tell me why a radio station played part of an unreleased song? Like in what context? What did the presenters say playing it? Because it doesn’t make sense to me

To talk about her legacy, for example. Sony used to make promotional discs for fans to promote the songs from a new album. They did the same with Céline, and they still do the same with radio stations.

If I remember correctly, the radio station was German, and unfortunately, I don’t understand German, so I can’t tell you more. Maybe there’s a German forum member who can translate it for us.

Hearing it, I must say that (although I don’t care about concepts) it didn’t fit the style of the Courage album. Maybe that’s why they didn’t include it. But it’s a beautiful song.

I'm in love with the snippets of Celine we've heard since the first listen and since they are stuck in my head. Now after hearing the "full version" I want it even more and wish the new rumor for a fall 2026 release will finally give us this song...

There seems to be a comment from the authors under his video. Maybe he knows them, and they provided the instrumental and lyrics to him.
