My only complaint is the hair. Otherwise she looks great. If she had long voluminous hair she would have looked so much better. She looks bald in some photos, lol.   I do like the golden color though, just wish it wasn't a bun.

What I really hate about how they are handling things is that now she is out and about doing stuff like MET, Loreal etc. but absolutely nothing has been released. And when they finally release new songs in November, she won’t be anywhere to be seen and make headlines, because she wil be doing shows. It’s just a very stupid way to handle a career

Same. I was expecting a more...campy hairdo, I guess they wanted to capture all the attention with the feathers but imagine how cool it could have been with something like this SJP hairdo and the feathers!

Its called building hype for a single. Shes doing the MET, doing primetime corden, wrapping up in vegas probably with interviews, doing a huge summer festival, then embarking on a world tour.... shes building a hugr frame work of easy promo and youre too involved in what YOU want to see that

That headpiece actually "needed" a more modest hair do like she had. Long volymus hair wouldn't balance it right and it would have all been too much and not as elegant.

It was hard not to use caps....the album isn’t out until
November/she might not want to promote a song right now/she is doing what she wants/she doesn’t have to be promoting anything.

Like she said in the bus, she’s winning!

She is on all the best dressed lists (again, the Met Gala is fashion, not music) she is getting so much praise- just let it be that! Music will come. It’s going to be very interesting how they handle it. First English album after Rene, with Céline calling the shots and doing it how she wants. Have faith. And don’t assume she won’t be ‘anywhere to be seen’. It’ll be big.

Also couldn't stand Gaga's desperete need for the "right look". She took several - pick on like all the rest had to do. Or maybe I missed some point of "camp" and she played her cards right....

I think you (guys) are kinda missing the point. At this moment in time, her career isn’t just in the music bizz anymore, it’s also in the fashion world (and other stuff). All this is nót (specifically) aimed at hyping it up for new music. All this is simply aimed at hyping her NAME and BRAND (and all that it encompasses, [i]including[/], but not only, her music career).

Yes, of course, 2019 will in the end be out releasing new music (finally) and the start of a new world tour, but it’s Céline’s career and passion is so much more than “just” music now.

I keep thinking about her look, and the more I see of it, the more the hair/headpiece just doesn't work for me. I almost wish they'd leaned in a bit more on the Ziegfeld Follies/Ziegfeld Girl thing. What if she'd done a flapper-style bob wig -- even in gold! -- à la Louise Brooks (who actually was a Ziegfeld girl in the '20s) and Colleen Moore, instead of the bun? It still would've worked with the headpiece. It might've veered too much into costume/literal territory at that point, but geez, I'm tired of that bun being her default.

Haha, good point...perhaps compared to that appearance, anything would seem subdued. But I didn’t sense a ton of enthusiasm from her voice. Maybe just me...
