Even though it's always lovely to see Celine slay the red carpet, I'm kind of okay that she's missed the last few ones. The vibes have been off with the Gala the last few years. Maybe it's just the type of "stars" and invitees they have. They don't make stars like they used to. Plus way too many people just ignore the theme imo.

I thought this year’s was excellent. Best since I started following it. Loved the theme, loved that this year it all actually meant something. You could tell from the red carpet interviews, too. Usually it’s just inane fluff, but this year notably more substantive.

And honestly, once I saw the theme in motion, it might’ve been the most Celine theme so far. This was totally in her wheelhouse of past fashion. I do wonder why she didn’t attend if not for health reasons, surely she was invited.
