I expect a tour in places that it has never been, Spain, Greece, Portugal, South America and maybe some places of the United States, it could make the biggest cities by it, and in Cabnadá too, more I believe that it will not be possible.

In fact, I think she will be touring Europe again next year.

Correct because didn’t it restrict her from touring North America? Yes I’d like for her to just take the summer off and enjoy herself even if that means no tour.

The point is that this topic is directly taking for granted that Céline has now to do a tour every year, and I think that assumption brings no good. But it's just my opinion!

Oh yeah I don't even want her to think about work for the next few weeks. She's said before that she is very tired after touring. Can't imagine all the flying she has done and through the different time zones. I'm dead after just one flight!

Having had no French language shows this year I would expect some from the next tour, so that basically means France and Quebec are likely to be included in the next tour again.

But since the upcoming album is English, I’d assume that they’d take advantage of touring non-French speaking countries and save France/Quebec, etc for 2020.

Well you say that but look at 2013 when LMBTL album came out & she went to do a month of French shows in Paris lol

That was right after LBMTL came out (the tour was announced in the Spring of 2013), they were still promoting SA. Although it would’ve been nice to include some non-French speaking countries during that mini tour.

Exactly what I was about to say. I went to the second Antwerp show rather than Paris though and had seen her in Vegas earlier that year. It was great for me a new album and a trip to see Celine in Europe in the space of a few weeks. It didn't bother me at all that the shows didn't contain many of the songs from LMBTL. I think I listened to it on the train most of the way there and back!

Selfishly and marketing-wise, I would say tour Europe to promote the new album, with concerts (should be released by Summer '19 right TC?!??!)... And please do only a handful of shows in Paris and in a stadium and do arena's in all the European countries (and no stadiums). And do Pandora like shows in select North American cities like NYC, Toronto, Los Angeles and Miami (she's allowed to do a tour in NA providing that the show is about 70% different than the one in Vegas).

But to be fair, she should finally do a tour through South America.

And if for example this Vegas residency ends late 2019, she can do a mini-tour through North America in Summer 2020.

Celine could tour in french speaking countries in Africa, for sure!

I do remember something about restrictions for North America.  Don't want to start a discussion about Vegas but while it's great to have a residency there it prevents her from coming to see me.  That my friend is the biggest tragedy, the fact she can't come to see me.  haha

I think a big tour will definitely happen in 2019 / 2020.

It will be in support of the new album along with (of course) her greatest hits.

Then she'll probably head back to Vegas in a couple years. Hopefully she will do a few new things as well --- a movie? A duets album? A new holiday album? More appearances on THE VOICE and AMERICAN IDOL? Something totally unexpected? Who knows!

Regarding Vegas ---- I think it's fantastic that she's had Iconic success there. She will be the QUEEN of Vegas for a long, long time --- no matter how many new acts roll into town. But it has been crappy that she's not been able to tour the US for all these years. Vegas is one thing...  A tour has a whole new energy. So I'm thrilled that a tour of the US could be happening soon. (Along with MANY other places)

I would love a US tour if she's not in Vegas anymore after Jan 2019 (save me the trip for my first CD concert lol). If not then it'd be cool if maybe she toured South America and Brazil, parts of the Caribbean or go back to Jamaica.

A show including the classics (obviously), a couple from her new album, 2 or 3 rare songs or ones she's never sung live, and a few songs from TC and LMBTL album.

I was going to mention this.
I think that she could leave Vegas for some time,  either to tour, rest, or do new things (movie yes please. Finger crossed for her ), but eventually she would probably plan to go back. Vegas allows her the stability of having a place where she can do what she loves, which isperforming live, and I do think she likes her Vegas residency.

Well, she visited Europe, Asia nad Australia. She won't tour in the US because of the Las Vedas residency. So we have left South America nad Africa. But I don't know if they want her to go there at all. I guess she never toured South America...

That said, I would love to see a Francophone live show rather than an Anglophone one, so I'd be good with her going back to France and seeing her there.

I do think she needs to invest the time in South/Latin America - it will take an awful lot of time to organise but the $$$ she'd make would be similar to what she's likely to have made in Asia.

She can't play live in America without prior agreement from Caesar's - not unique to her, it's the same for all Vegas acts.

I think that even extends to talk show performances - the value of her Vegas deal is such that Caesar's need to be sure that they can maximise every last $ from her live performances in America.

So finishing vegas = availability to tour the US.

And as the album is due, a US tour with 2-3 new songs would be great promo for the album and give it the best chance in the US as the one thing that LMBTL lacked was US promo.

Anyway, i “created” this thread for SPECULATION, you think she will tour Europe, say that. You think she will tour South Africa, say that. You think she will perform in Vegas over the summer as she wont finish vegas till later on in the year, say that. You think she will retire next summer SAY THAT.

Its called “2019 tour speculations” for a reason

That's an assumption, at best.
She took a year off of said contract so presumably has to deliver on it.
And if she signs another (which I fully expect she will) there's likely an exclusivity clause that would prevent her from touring the US in the interim.
