I am very tired, but I just wanted to post my idea I just had for the Met Gala.

The more that I think about the theme of the Met Gala, the more I think that Celine might wear her hair like this.

Sleak, slicked back hair and a low bun in the back. I am also thinking that this could be the perfect opportunity for Law Roach to bring back the iconic backwards tuxedo. He could reinvent it and make it cool for the new generation. I just imagine her looking fierce and on point, possibly with a long necklace flowing down her back.

No, no. Comme des garcons is the name of a fashion house. Just like Chanel, Off White, or J. Mendel are names of fashion houses. Rei Kawakubu is the head of the fashion house, and her work is the theme for the Gala. It has nothing to do with boys.

So... Celine's got about 2 weeks of. In NYC for the Met Gala about half-way through that, but do we know what else she might be up to? Rehearsing for the summer tour, I suppose, but any other appearances that we're aware of? (A little somethin' else while in New York, maybe? )

She should already have seen some of the outfits she can choose from. I bet it's exciting for her because she loves fashion so much

She is rehearsing for the summer tour from today and until the next run of the Las Vegas show. So now the band is staying in Las Vegas between shows. They usually go back to Montréal between runs.

Fashion Police also does a Met Gala Fashion Police Special every year, which show tones of footage and pictures from the event. The special will probably air the following day, or the following Friday.

I just saw on my T.V. guide that the E! network will indeed have a Live From The Red Carpet Met Gala Special again this year. It starts at 7:30pm ET and runs until 9:00pm

Law will have nothing to do with the outfits. Céline will have about 5 outfits to choose from and Law will be her adviser when it comes to choose the outfits

Speaking of The Met (opera, not museum ), Montreal's other musical pride (and big Celine fan) Yannick Nezet Seguin is making his debut today as The Met's new Musical Director Designate - slated to be only the 3rd Musical Director in The Met's 133-year history!

Mind you, this is not Yannick's Met debut - he conducted Carmen back in '09, when he was just 34! -

I just saw on my T.V. guide, the Fashion Police: 2017 Met Gala special will be on Tuesday night at 8:00pm ET and it airs on the E! Network. This Fashion Police special is pretty much guaranteed to show footage of Celine, so fans on this forum night want to tune in.

I also saw a commercial for Etalk today. They are going to have a Facebook Live broadcast of The Met Gala arrivals. The commercial also says to follow them on instagram for the latest up to date pics during the Met Gala.

I am so excited! It is only 4 days away. I wonder when Celine will arrive in NYC? I would be nice if she arrived tomorrow and worked some NYC shopping into her schedule. Celine hasn't gone on a shopping spree in awhile, so I'm sure she would love a little down time. Celine deserves it.
