In my heart I want to celebrate his life and mourn as little as possible. He's been a part of my life for over 20 years. I'm so thankful for that.

Beautifully said. Rene was to me not only a great human but he was the BEST manager Celine could have ever hoped for all the way til the end. I don't want to start a big discussion in this thread about this topic but I must say one thing.Whether we liked everything he did for Celine's career or not, NOBODY could've done better and every decision he made for her was in her best interest. Had nothing to do with sales or money or hits or fame especially the last 15 years. It's quite simple without René Angelil there is NO Céline Dion.
Merci Renè.

Let me see what I can manage. I will have to park and then walk to get a good pic. Hopefully, it will come out. But I will need help when I get back as I have never posted a pic here before. Changing clothes and then I'm on my way.

Nothing we can do but show support. The terrible thing is it's late in Europe, Middle East etc but it's only 7:00PM currently in Las Vegas. I wish for Celine's sake it would be night time so she would try to rest and be closed off from the world for a few hours. My heart really is aching.

I was at my parents, and I just logged on to my Instagram and saw a picture that said "RIP Rene" so I checked other sources just to make sure it wasn't a death hoax, and deep down I knew it was true and it was confirmed.

Also my parents swear to me that they aren't fans of Celine, because I made them listen to her everyday, every car ride, etc when I was a young kid lol but they both love Celine and my dad and mom are old fashion have been married for 30 years and truly admired Celine and Rene's marriage, partnership and values, because they are very similar to my parents.
We witnessed one of the greatest love stories of ALL time not just for Hollywood but period, I feel honored to have witnessed their love it proves that love has no age, no time and no reason and it keeps me hopeful that a soulmate truly exists.'

This. It's so true. I think that is their greatest legacy - the sharing of such a beautiful love story with the world. I love you, Celine and Rene.

Far more precious then the Grammys, the number 1 singles, the career. They showed the world how to love and what "true love" looks like!
" I will fall, and you will catch me always, time has taught me this, I will fly and you'll be there to guide me, straight up to my hearts highest wish, I FEEL YOU close to me and I know what love is." Fly Rene and always guide your amazing wife!
These lyrics have a new meaning today and I've had this song on repeat for hours ^

They sought to conquer the world and they succeeded. Not just through her music, but also through their honesty, generosity, dedication, and love. From the small demo tape, to Eurovision, to her first English album, to their marriage, to the Titanic, to their time off, to Vegas. Together, they will "go down in history", their "love described as incredible," and nothing more than "simply incredible." They were, are, and will always be a team that will never be forgotten as long as the music that they created together and the love that they shared continue to be heard.
Mais qui peut dire, qu’il peut vivre sans amour, qui?
