Thursday was lipped in I surrender. The high notes were polished and perfect, very very similar to her AND playback. Not sure  if she lipped the usual bits like in AND (everything from.the start of the first chorus until "right here right now") or if she maybe sang verse 2 live, not exactly sure, but I feel quite confident the whole song wasn't live. You are right that if we are talking about consistency then what I have said has broken the celine playback rules she generally sticks too, but it wouldn't be so hard to believe considering she has done that with a few songs this show.

Example- Saturday you could hear her improvising more on I surrender than ever before. Look at the notes in particular after the high note at the bridge leading up to "right here right now" ... on Thursday those parts sounded just as they always do, polished and perfect and the same runs as on her playback. On Saturday, for the first performance ever of the song, a few of those lines sounded different. You can say that is the nature of a live performance, and maybe so...but honestly if both performances were live, both would sound similar to the 29th.. rather than one sounding exactly like what you would expect a live performance to sound like and the other sounding like the old recording.

Haha I'll try!! Normally I work so much that if I ever log on its for like 5 min on my phone, but on vacation I have more freedom and time and the celine hype is on overload still for me so I don't want to be anywhere else right now than at the shows and talking with all of you about it!! I certainly can't drive my mom or dad or friends nuts about it lol (don't worry I already told my mom as soon as she picked me up from the airport I'm stealing her aux cord and making her listen to purple rain lol).

I'm with mike_z on the playback of I Surrender. One note did not come at some point, and she gave some look back to see what's happening. But she handled it very well: she's no Mariah when it comes to playback.

This being said, the concert is just awesome. And to be honest, I don't mind the playback here. One cannot expect her to sing the ABM note every night, and she's singing good live too. It's so great to see her back!!

Yeah, look at ''My Heart Will Go On'' it was amazing on both nights and 100% live.

In fact I guess I prefer a live performance than a polished performance and even without high notes it sounds great, even better. This song doesn't it, the lyrics are very strong.

I felt like a struggle from the beginning  of I surrender ,I don't know if the key was high for her or what  but u could tell that it was hard to hit the high notes,but it's ok she's not a machine ,she did her best

She seemed unconfortable with the song indeed!
The notes she avoided are sure hard to hit but she really did good on other "big" songs like MHWGO, so maybe she needed more time to warm up this time!

Because the note on the 27th wasn't pre-recorded prior to the show so they can't replicate it for other nights.

Sure lol.
Those are just two different pre-recorded tracks. You'll hear that same note again pretty soon, don't worry. Both notes sound fake, artificially heightened in the studio and the last part of the note was added after, like they did for the Spanish version of ABM.
Celine doesn't come to the stage every night with new parts to sing or lip-sync lol. She's not that perfect lol.

Oh wow i thought MHWGO and Somewhere over the rainbow couldn't get any better than they were the opening night but well.. I was wrong. LOVED them on the 2nd show!! I hope she continues to sing those songs a bit differently every time, it makes them so much more exiting and thrilling to listen to:) I'm really enjoying those bootlegs!

I really want to believe extremely extremely much so that is the case with abm on the 27th but I'm not sure... lol let's be honest. In the 90s she never sang that note like that. Like the album version. She always sustained it in a different way, the one time she did it live in 2008 was not like the playback, it was not like the album, it was just like the 90s (but less strained, honestly it was perfect). I find it difficult to believe she nailed it the best of her career on a premiere after a year break and then decides to lip the next show... I guess if we continue to see only the old playback used then there is nothing else left but to accept it was live, but let's give it a few shows and see if she is just taking a page from mariahs book and using multiple recordings for the same song to keep it fresh and throw people off. It doesn't sound very celine like of her based on her past but with new band and new people calling the shots it could be!!

Just listening to the second bootleg. Tyler, I am still in love with you. I live in Egypt and the idea of travelling to USA, lol, let´s say I do not see it happening like... Ever.
I enjoyed the first one immensely, but I was really concerned that it will be too much for Celine. I mean, all those high notes...
Maybe it´s just me, but Celine seem somehow... sadder tonight.

MHWGO from the first night was much better, more improvising. I miss it in the second one which is more standard. I thought that it would be better as you wrote but I'm disappointed actually. Only the end was sth else than usual

Because it was live. If they use it again, it won't have any special meaning behind it if used as a primary prerecording. With that being said, I love that they chose to revert back to that note, doing that note live nightly would strain her vigorously. She already sings 90+% of the show live anyway.

OK, lol. Talk about haters. No, she's not perfect at all, but her delivery is superb. If it's really that laughable to you, i'd suggest visiting Mariah's show next year You'll really have the laugh of lifetime

So after watching a ton of performances on youtube, I gotta say, this is the best her voice has sounded since she was in her 20s. To all of you critiquing every single note she sings....<snipped> and are only making the comments because you think you're some amazing vocalist, and you falsely feel you have room to critique. Whether or not someone is complaining about the high note in ABM, or you're complaining about something else because you feel you are so classically trained that you can even insult the best voice in the world that is Celine Dion....get off your high horse. If you were that good, you would have been discovered by now.

Sorry but these nitpickers need to be called out, and they act like they know more about singing than Celine does. They feel because they've been classically trained...that they need to insult anything they feel is a live inperfection. The point of singing live is so there IS imperfection.

This is clearly the best she's sounded in a VERY long time. Can we please all just agree to ignore the negative comments since they all seem to come from people with their egos high than clouds since the people who comment think they're such established vocalists? It's like.....you're NOT established. You're not famous....and it's because you're not that good. Celine IS that good and more, and that's why she's so successful.

Celine is 47, and is performing as if her voice was in its 20s. When someone is 47 and can literally sing a song even better than she could in her 20s....that makes her amazing.

All the critiques from people who posted previously in this thread....I guess you're just not that talented. Deal with it and love Celine like you always have.

I don't mean this as a hate post, but let's at least call out the eccentrists for the people that they are.
No matter what they say.....the new Vegas 2015 return, had her strongest vocals since the LTAL tour...and these fans who lack talent, shouls stop throwing their 2n cents in.
