I feel like the tour setlist is probably already planned because if she chose many old songs like last summer that scott has to have enough time to get the arrangements all done. I don't think the summer tour should be affected by this at all.

Come on people. "I hope she doesn't get taken advantage of." Are you serious? Celine isn't some naive, moronic twit. She may have taken a back seat to the business side of things...that doesn't mean she doesn't know how to get shït done. She's not a stupid woman. She also has a management team. Aldo was just the head honcho. She's well protected not only by the people she works with, but also by herself. No need to worry. Yes, this is sudden. But Celine and her team have a sense of class, decorum and brains. They'll figure this out, and everything will be fine. Stop thinking the most dramatic and worse case scenario as if it's already at their fingertips.

WOW! This is big news.... leads to a lot of questions and uncertainty.

Based on the official statement that he left for "personal and family reasons" I don't think this was a dramatic exit (although I'm sure certain people and news outlets will create storylines.... "Celine's sinful affair with her married manager!" "She loves old men!")

I have full faith in Celine's ability to know what's right for her, she's not just going to jump into new management without signing extensive contracts that provide her safety nets. I think people forget how intelligent she is sometimes....

This.  Family/Personal reasons tend to be excuses given in the business world when someone knows the axe is going to fall sooner or later.

And the announcement is more than dry, ordinary when you are in good terms, there would be a press conference,.   It is a bit like when they fire a coach in sports, no comments from the one quitting.  I don't believe one minute in personnal reasons.

I have always connected Celine with stability. Stability in an old-fashioned way. Whether Aldo was fired or he quitted is of minor importance to me. The point is their professional relationship ended very soon and very suddenly. As a fan I am not used to such changes.

I also consider the fact that Aldo was the choice of Rene, so I doubt he would be satisfied with this outcome.

Hope the best for both parties, but I as well feel a bit worried with the way things are evolving.

I hope for the best. I will say always doings things within the family has its good sides and bad sides. Either way, what she needs is the most talented and reliable people who won't exploit her and who will be on the ball.

For example, who waits over a day plus to put up on Youtube/VEVO her stunning performance of The Show Must Go On? That's one small task that speaks volumes about her team and their ability to capitalize on momentum.

This is unexpected! I really hope for the best because sudden changes are not always a good sign. Aldo's management was short but imo it was going on the right direction. Let's just hope her new management is another step forward and cares for Celine and her career.

Maybe she has a new sense or taste for making decisions for herself now and doesn't want to be under a thumb anymore. You know like she said at her product launch. Something like she doesn't say yes to any man. Something like that.  Anyway the move is odd because like someone else mentioned earlier, what an odd time to announce such a move.

I am sure that Ceine is capable of deciding a lot. I believe she will know what to do. After all she hasn't been in this business for a short period of time and she has learned everything from Rene. She has been saying  that now she is the one  making most of the decisions. I am sure that she  will be more than capable of  handling  this. She certainly had the best mentor ever so its a question of time.

I feel as bad as you do about this, but let's not forget that Aldo accepted the job when Rene was fighting for his life, maybe as a friend... Rene wanted to be sure that when he passed, someone "take care" of Celine and her carreer, and so Aldo did. But maybe he was not pretending to manage her all his life. He was asked to help them while Rene was sick, and to help Celine with her career when he passed. Now, it's been over two years since he started, Celine's carreer continue in a  very positive way, so his job with her is done.
She didn't fire him, and he didn't quit, he did his job and now he's moving on.
Its my opinion.
