She needs the writer next to her to explain the song, like Linda Perry did with My love, like David Foster Does, pushing her vocals to best, Like JJ Goldman Did in the past, she is the best singer in the world, she doesn't need amateurs working with her she needs professional people,
They have enough money to pay 200000 for a song production,

Celine has a lot of money and if she really wanted to her music videos could be amazing!
Although this is the case, I sometimes think it's down to the time she has to give rather than money....

Production a Radio Song is to expensive, it's hours in studio, engineers, musicians, producer, it's impossible make an album in 2 days like many artist say in the media, maybe they put the melody and the vocals.
One thing that I always had sure René always wanted the best for her, good songs, good production, not meaning last work from her with him
Taking Changes is a great album, regret for the bad promotion
LMBTL is a mess up, even they didn't know what to do
Just think, she is Celine Dion, best singer....she needs great songs, great production to go to the top, not popy cheap song
How we can compare I surrender with Breakaway, it is impossible, both are good songs and i love them, but in production I Surrender wins
Like other songs like The power of love, To Love you more, call the man
Recovering is a great song, i feel sad how they decided to go with the song
i was waiting for a big song, when i say big i say big, something like its all coming back to me now

We all know these sustained notes are her bread and butter.

Totally! That kind of power ballads are a must in her English albums. It would be cool to have a Breakaway 2.0 type of song.

It was better that "Recovering" wasn't an over the top, melodramatic and bombastic ballad. When listening to Celine sing about losing the love of her life, people just want to simply hear her sing. Hear her pain. Identify with her struggle. Had the song been written like a Jim Steinman ballad, it would have distracted from all of that. I think "Recovering" is beautiful the way it is. The mood was right and set a tone. I don't think it should be part of the new album though. They should let it stand alone as a separate single.

the production doesn't kill the meaning the song, her voice does all
the music doesn't need vocals to exist, but vocals needs music to help the words
a deper production wouldn't affect the meaning, her live vegas version is more touch with that orqueste

But you said you wanted a song a la IACBTMN. While it's amazing vocally and production wise, it's also the type of ballad that a lot of critics claim shows Celine's emotional disconnect from the song because of its vocal acrobatics and over the top rock opera production. Me, personally...it's my favorite English single of hers. Ever. I love everything about it. But had Celine come out with anything sounding remotely over the top to show her grief, the critics would have panned her hard. Some may have said that it would have come off self indulgent. This ballad needed tenderness, not bombast.

They're great! But let them be where they belong. In the past.
Unfortunately none of this will happen since the executives must be stuck in the 90ties! I think their goal is to do exactly what worked before. Make a quick cash. I don't think they care about the artistry aspect anymore. I hope they prove me wrong....

That's what I think. Enough! Do something original that will sound like Celine. Talk to new producers. Try new things. Do what Madonna used to do. Find a new sound. Experiment a little. I'm not saying she should be doing some experimental electro dance but make her pop songs sound fresh. I'm sick of the same names all over. I think we have more than enough great songs from David Foster, Diane Warren etc.

Agree with you. But it also comes down to who wants to work with celine. You can't always get who you want, sometimes it's also because they're already booked at the time celine and Co would want them!
I hope it's a positive album, with strong clear vocals. And no stupid studio tricks like raising the key etc (IGNL) for example lol. Even though I actually like the song, it doesn't sound natural.

How many times we've commented how much we would like this or that Céline album to be released on vinyl? Someone from her team should learn. If Shania can, why not Celine?

While I assume it will be released during Q4, I'm so curious what they are going to do...I guess they are already selecting songs...
Since EUS didn't give me satisfaction, I so long to hear new songs ( Recovering is beautiful but I can't listen to it every day...I need a full album! )

yes, I would love too, but there is a difference between 5 albums (shania) and 18 albums (Céline only with Sony without the live and greatest hits). I don't think Sony thinks its a good idea to release at least 15 Céline albums on vinyl. Maybe if they release like 5 records each years....Or maybe the most successful ones, I would love to have D'eux on vinyl ! oh my god ! But I would not bet on that. Maybe they will someday release a giant big "coffret" with all her records on vinyl but yes... bring your wallet. Well... We'll see
