Personally I think it's fine new prerecorded vocals for the updates, rather than actual rehearsals. But I could be wrong lol

But we do also know that now Celine lives for today and doesn't think about the future that much anymore.

Bryan Adams should write for her again (I'm not living in the 90s anyway).
There should be at least a song written by Diane Warren (unfinished song is one of the best songs on LBTL).
David Foster and Humberto Gatica should come back producing her music. (Maybe the last tracks on the album... but it sounds too cliché).
What about a duet with Bette Midler? Love some of her songs.
I must say that in some unexplainable way I like some of Sia songs so I should give her a second chance. I think the uk radio mix of LBTL was way better than the album version. But let's say it: Celine is not Sia just like every other artist is not Celine.
She should sing her own songs. Tout pres du bonheur is wonderful and entre deux mondes is a gem and not that close to her power ballads, so a new improved sound.
Per Gessle from Roxette could write her a song (and hit the charts in Europe).
Corey Hart could come back with a soaring but unconventional ballad.
Of course something she really enjoy singing and that shows her class and her voice (she doesn't need to hit high notes to touch our hearts and make good music full of emotion).
Of course there are millions of songwriters that could write her the "perfect song" (youtube if full of young talented artists for instance)... the name above are simply "tested ones".
She should take part in the production of the album.

Superstar singer Celine Dion has taken the extraordinary step of making a public plea to fellow musicians and composers to send her their songs.
The 47-year-old Canadian singer, whose ballad Think Twice remains one of the UK’s biggest selling singles of all time, says she is looking for help for her next two albums.
Dion, who is about to start a run of 40 concerts in Las Vegas, told French radio station RT: "It's open to everyone. Any artist or composer can send me their art."
The unusual appeal by the singer, who also had a global hit with My Heart Will Go On as the theme song for the hit 1997 movie Titanic, has recently taken a break from touring to care for her 73-year-old husband Rene Angelil, who has throat cancer. She says she will return to touring in 2019.
Who really are the 100 greatest songwriters?
Any songs chosen from submissions will go towards her two upcoming albums, the first in French, next year, and the second, in English, in 2017.
"They can be songs that let me reach new goals, to progress, to have a good time, to be passionate - because I would very much like to keep moving forward," Dion said.
She said she wanted to continue her career "as much as possible," adding: "I can't tell you right now who I'll be working with."
Her last album, Loved Me Back to Life, came out in 2013.
Dion, known as the Queen of Pop, may come to regret her plea as she is likely to be inundated with songs aimed at a performer who has sold more than 220 million albums worldwide. There are, of course, 20 million existing songs on Spotify she could have chosen from, included a reported four million that have never been played even once.
So that's your chance guys, write a song for Celine

As for the French album, some new songs from JJG and Jacques Veneruso of course, as well as a duet with Florent Pagny (she sang Caruso with him on a TV show once, that was brilliant)

Yep, agreed with your assessment here! Though I'd say 'Yes' for Florence & the Machine and don't know Olly Murs so can't comment there.
Also, EMINEM - what would RC say

Christina has a great voice that can can compliment celine's, and I would like to see something similar to what christina did with alicia keys and impossible...
Meghan Trainor is a new upcoming singer who has GREAT TALENT, a wonderful voice and duet with celine would be a nod from celine showing she is entering that "mentor" stage for new singers
Carey is Ceilne's contemporary. as much as mariah fans hate us, and vis versa, they can recrod together.. whitey and mariah did it, celine and mariah can too
Rihanna is a HUGE DION fan, tons of followers and she can help celine enter the R an B world with ease..
Enrique, his dad won eurovision, he has an international career as well and those two would be great together as well

Florence only sounds good on record. When she sings live, she can't just hit the note, she has to scoop into it and for me it's not enjoyable to listen to.

Christina no longer uses any color in her voice. She has one volume...loud and obnoxious. Plus every time she sings, it's the same run over and over. Very harsh to the ears to listen to her as of recent. Meghan Trainor...eh. Her songs are catchy, but after 2 or 3 listens they're just annoying. Meghan's voice, while good is definitely no match for Celine's. As for Mariah...her voice is gone. It's just not good anymore. Even her studio recordings after all the editing only have remnants of what her voice would normally sound like. She recorded with Whitney while her voice was in it's prime. It is no longer at the caliber to do a duet with Celine. Celine's voice would crush Mariah's in a duet today. And I'm not saying that as a non-fan of Mariah, because I always have been a fan. I'm just stating a fact. Rihanna can barely keep up with her own voice, and I'll just leave that one at that. Enrique...love him. He's sexy, I like his voice and his music. I just don't think he and Celine's voices would complement each other's in a duet.

Unfinished songs could have been a good song, but they decided to use cheap synth strings in the original and ultimately completely remixed the song into something way different. If the strings had been recorded with a good orchestra and more time was spend to make a good track it would have been so much better!
By the way, what I think is a crap song, even though I like the music - are the lyrics of you and I. I mean .. you and I were meant to fly.. high above the mountains across the sky... ( sorry If I don't say it right) but - hey - a child could have invented that. And that is what I constantly hear, those cheap lyrics, no matter how good the song sounds.
