Like I said before I kinda got the impression that Céline felt ashamed about this album - dodging questions about it, never talking new music and keep delaying it. Lately we've heard she's very proud of it and I hope that is true.

Maybe the late release (november) is about them polishing the sound and making new arrengemnts and chaning the production (like someone already mentioned) to make it mor up to date considering that some tracks are a few years old already.

That can make it worth the wait. Just take a look at Unfinished Songs: remember how bad it sounded when we first heard it, then when the album came out it had changed very much to the better.

However that doesn't explain why FOMO doesn't get released - it has a quite new and relevant sound (compared to the new song in Carpool Karaoke).

I don't necessarily think she ever felt shame about this new album. I do think she used to feel immense pressure for her English albums to be monstrous successes like they were back in the day. That's why she would dodge questions about new music. She felt the pressure and she didn't like it.

But now she seems at peace with where the recording industry is -- and she seems a lot more confident to talk about the album. But boy has it been a journey!

The LMBTL album came and went so fast. They never really knew where to go with the album and then the promo fell flat so quickly -- in great part due to Rene's sickness.

I'm ready for this new era with fresh music and fresh performances.

Don't think this is the case at all. If anything, you can clearly see in recent interviews that she's not allowed to talk about it [in detail].
She keeps looking side aways and sometimes she even said "I can't talk about it yet" (or something like that).

Before, I do think she didn't want to talk about it, but not because she was ashamed....on one hand, nothing was set in stone, and the other... she had other passsions/priorities and she prefered to talk about that (well she kinda always prefers to talk about anything but music lol)..

I have noticed that as well. At times it seems she wants to tell us all but her team is keeping a very close look on what is being ssid.  Has she ever been his secretive about an album before?  Seems her team is being extra careful on what hey say as if not to ruin something big.

As you know, anything can change on an album when you are on a big label. So you can't say too much in case things change... (example: Water and a Flame )

Well apparently they have a plan that got you so excited about that you felt the urge to post it on Twitter.

My guess is it has nothing to do with a fashion event.

I just think they don’t know what the hell is going on which is why they don’t talk about it.

I think Renè was the one who always made sure we had the info about future projects and music and now that he’s gone this team seems to careless about it.

I’m always reminded about the part of the “A New Day...” DVD where Celine is venting to Rene in the car ride from their house to Caesars Palace about how’s its her “4th week in a row” and Rene says “ it’s okay soon we’ll have a month off.... with pressure” and Celine says “ only a month off with pressure, ONLY the Oscars, the photoshoot, the recordings, Only a month off, thank you so much”

Now that he’s  gone it’s been more evident than ever that Rene wasn’t only the manager behind her but also the manager who pushed her to keep busy.  I miss the Rene days, he wasn’t always a perfect manager but he was damn close.

Yeah no need to read again, that is exactly what I’m saying. She has her moments but as a whole Rene as her manager kept her busier.
I’m counting her music related stuff, I’m glad she’s doing what she enjoys in fashion but as a music fan I couldn’t care less about it, makes no difference to me that she parades around in expensive #ss clothing and takes a few photos. She can and will do as she pleases but that’s MY opinion but to each their own.

I think she is as busy as she was with René but now she is the one agreeing to the schedule - so no more surprises for her. And the fact that she isn't the top singer of the moment means less pressure. And she does the things that she really wants to do. That's the main difference I believe.

Rene kept her busy 10 and 20 years ago when Celine had nothing else to do but practice and perform. Nothing else but that. Now Celine is in charge of things she was never before and she is doing great. She has given many things already in these past few months and you know what's gonna come. Honestly, lately for me she seems exhausted and the last thing i would say is that she isn't busy. We really need to wait for vegas to end.

Just because shes not busy in the public eye, doesnt mean she isnt busy. From what we can tell from pics and tweets etc, whenever shes off shes recording, taking trips, planning things, doing photoshoots, doing rehersals for BST and The Tour, making album arrangements and schedules for promotion, attending her own business meetings... just because we dont see her beeing “busy” doesnt mean shes just sitting around doing nothing, theres a whole lot we dont see

Busy is busy imo, doesn't matter if it's only music related or various projects (and I am so glad she has multiple projects). But even just in terms of music she's been doing plenty this year. Starting with the Aretha tribute, planning BST, finish up the album, planning promotion for said album, planning a World tour, performing on Jimmy Kimmel, Carpool Karaoke, LA Event to announce the tour, filming a promo video for the tour, future photo-shoot for the album/tour, etc. And we don't know what else is being worked on.

Besides just because she was more busy doing musical appearances in the past doesn't mean she has to continue at the same rate. Also, it's important to take into account that back then Celine wasn't very involved in the ins and outs of a lot and so she probably didn't enjoy everything as much. Now she is much more involved and imo that makes her a whole lot more invested in her projects, you can tell just by how she talks about it. Not doing more music related things doesn't mean she doesn't care about it.

I think the title is good but that “Flying On My Own” could have also been a great tour and album name.

Its smart to wait vegas to be over.

I think the best move would be to debut FOMO as an encore at the last show. Literally turn the last moment of the show into a giant dance party and invite her team onstage to dance with her. I think that would signal the beginning of a new era in the best possible way.

Nope.

I understand the meaning behind it (one has to be so brave to go on what looks like a huge upcoming tour, after so many years, post Vegas and with a different personal context...). I just feel they “max-milked” the personal story for $$$.

Flying on my own, as cool as it sounds, does not really reflect the support received from her friends, team etc., but just a part of it all (as important as it may be).

The font is very Dracula like/Asian horror movies suggestive...bleeding her emotions out sort of.

The picture is too simple for a show that we assume will have dancers (cabaret maybe?) and amazing visuals.

Nevertheless, I doubt the poster and title will discourage people from buying a ticket, especially since they are doing such a great job with the promo.

Cannot wait for September!
