Edit: also exciting part is when she says she loves all the songs she's recorded and that there's not "one song in the album that I don't love, because if I only like it, it's out". Sounds promising... We'll see!

Yes fingers crossed. Exciting times, can´t wait for the album. Even with only 12 songs as the standard edition it will be epic, but if this idea with more than one disc comes true, it would be more than amazing.
Overall I have a feeling, that Celine want to present a gift to the fans with this album and with the tour, as she said, she wants it to be spectacular.

It’s just fair and long overdue, since this is the LONGEST time she has taken to release an English album in her career! And besides, this would be something new, something she has never done before in her career.

And nobody was hurted for releasing a double album... Like we said, it’s been done before and it works pretty good

Again... 6 years since 2013... It’s only fair! She’s asking Sony for it! So why not?!

(A double album would be great, but if it’s a triple disc like she said... we won’t complain! )

Probably too expensive for Sony to record/produce all those songs for the amount of albums they end up selling... But let's hope we get at least 16 songs on this one and that they release a new album every year with the other songs they have.

They’re already spending thousands of dollars paying all those studios to hire and musicians, technicians, engineers dear? All these long years recording aren’t coming for free?! f they can allow to spend money to record up to 50 songs and then scratch more than 30, they can surely spend some more money to release a double album!

I kinda get the impression when she says she has 75 songs and she ‘wants to sing them all’ she means she wants to record them all rather than just picking a small selection of her favourites to record but maybe I misunderstood.

believe me ..whenever i can J listen to Ashes and i put the volume loud and let the majestic score and her soaring voice fill my livingroom.

Okay i am on repeat - but Ashes showed us how Celine used to sound; epic!  More of this please!! I want a whole cd with powerballads and some catchy uptempo songs.
No experiments like Celine rapping or do dubstep. Dance like Fly on my own is very welcome though. I hope they give us at least a new single soon...september is so far away..

So this is by no means to bash Celine or anything alike, just to compare and illustrate how things are STILL done in the music industry no matter how some fans here live in denial towards Celine and the "she/her team knows best" attitude

As you may know her fellow (and so admired) signer P!nk just released a brand new studio album a week ago, "Hurts 2B Human", and here are some facts about how she's doing the promo:

1) The album has been released only 1 year and a half (18 months exactly) after her last studio album, "Beautiful Trauma", released on October 2017. This just proves wrong all those saying that the music industry has changed so much that releasing music albums with a regular basis is no longer needed because "only touring is the priority".

2) The album has been released while she's STILL touring with her past album "Beautiful Trauma" -which is set to finish on November 2019-, and of course she will incorporate some of the new songs to the shows that still remain of the present tour.

3) The first single "Walk Me Home" was presented in February. Since then, she's been teasing and releasing up to 3 more tracks from the album until the official release date of the album, the past Friday. So fans had up to 4 songs to listen from the album within less than 2 months until the full album was available.

4) The first single "Walk Me Home" was presented live for the very first time on Ellen a week ago.



5) She continued the promo on Jimmy Kimmel a couple of days ago. But did she perform the same song on that show? Nope, she offered a new song,"Hustle" so as not to repeat herself with the same performance during the promo within a week-time from her previous performance.



P!nk is finding incredible success with all her albums and tours, and she's also a mum of two little kids and still creates and writes songs like crazy. And promotes. And goest to TV an sings new songs, not the same old hits nor random covers nobody has asked her to perform. Do you see the differences with Celine? Celine goes to TV to talk goofy and trivial things, she doesn't perform any songs, and when she has the chance she offers "The Show Must Go On", "My Heart Will Go On" or the next cover taken up her sleeve. She's losing MANY chances already since 2008 and how BADLY her albums have been managed and treated by Sony and they're still doing things so bad with her music. Wish she would take some notice and example of how her fellow and so admired singers like this do in the business, if only she cared as much about her music as she does about doing photoshoots for fashion magazines

Celine is now saying she is LOVING all the songs she has received for her album and that she can't wait to perform them to us. Well, let's see how many times she goes to TV and still comes back with the same BYLKM, MHWGO and such or even some random cover instead of presenting as many new songs as she can!

And before anyone bashes me for not praising and blindly adoring every single decision (or lack of moves, better said) of Celine, please note that I only posted this completely will all due respect and to prove her career can be treated much better still and with way much more credibility as an artist and legend

I bought it the day of its release, last Friday! And best is that I just learnt she had a new album out that same morning at Madrid, while at work! (I don't now why but I didn't get her IG alerts about the new album, just her random posts about family and the tour!). But haven't listened to it yet; I'll do this weekend when I have some moment to savouir it as it deserves

One thing is clear to me, in light of events: Céline's methods of recording albums, selecting songs, and the whole process of creating an album is one of the less-known and most incomprehensible aspects of her career When all artists usually love to be asked questions about the songs that are in the album, tell and explain why this and that song is there, what it means to her, why that title, why that producer and why this or that sound, she always remains mute about this i guess all these was René's work and main occupation, but still... for a long-time recording artist is way too strange. She has worked hard to always let us know very little about this in her career!

You clearly aren't reading all of my activity in this forum, since that's completely false. I know it's hard to concentrate on the positives because that doesn't sell, but you couldn't be more wrong

I'm perfectly conscious it's a tough debate to compare what Celine does with what her fellows are doing, especially when Celine is doing nothing new in English music since years ago. It became a hard pill to swallow everytime we mention the music and activities that other singers are doing now before Celine, whether it is Madonna, Cher, Mariah, Babra Streisand, or P!nk, but that's what it is. Trying to live in denial and silence it is not gonna change anything. And I'm not a blind fan who says amen to everything my idols do.

When she releases that damn album and blasts everywhere with her singles, I'll be the first to praise and applaud. In the meantime, we only can wait and comment on what others do, since it's been years we've been teased with that album and yet we know NOTHING about it.

I have to disagree. Aslone it doesn´t become to much this example with Pink is fine. Celine says oftentimes, that she admires her, so why doesn´t she look at her methods and treating her new music and perform it, as Pink does. It would be so great, when Celine and mostly Sony would do the same thing with Celine.

As said before, when Celine was Pinks age she did more or less the same thing. She released 2 albums in one year, wrapped a vegas residency, promoted Delles and Taking chances and then went on a huge world tour so i dont know why thats some sort of comparison being made

I think we have to step down a bit with our requirements about Celine. I don´t say that she doesn´t work hard enough or do too less for her career. We can´t complain, that she doesn´t do as much work as 20-30 years ago, where she was building her career. I think she does a good jo. Every new song, which is released, was included in her shows (recovering, HDAMLF, ashes...) she gives still so many shows, which she doesn´t have to. But she still does it, as a gift for the fans and for herself to celebrate her music and her dream. I think if Celine includes every new single in her shows, shows up at events and do shows, she can´t do much more. Yes she could include more new songs in her shows, but I think the main part is by sony. I don´t think, that Celine doesn´t want to promote new music or record songs. Otherwise she wouldn´t release new songs and include them in her shows since 1997/98! I think it´s more sony which doesn´t care that much, what is very sad and completely incomprehensible. First of all they should Celine´s music much better, because it has something to do with with respect. Celine was very and is quite still enriching for them. And secondly, they could make much more money than now, with good and heavy promo, like much airplay on radios etc.

I´m glad that ashes gets some notice from new and old fans, so I hope that reexploring of Celine´s music and especially the music released since 2002 will go on and grow even more with her new album. Sony get on your job, it´s a shame. Help Celine to reach more people with her music and make her new music better known and you can make more money. What can one say against that Sony?

I’m just glad that they’re are making an effort now. Like doing a small film intro for the small event, More tv appearances, etc.

I just hope the big prod tour will be better than TCWT. I hope they will be more creative this time. I think simple show is enough so, some people will not complain as why the tickets are so expensive yet the show are so simple. The price should be reasonable as why it’s so expensive. Not just because of her voice. Tickets are expensive because of the production costs.

I want people to remember Céline as an international superstar singer who gives the best show ever not just by singing but by also giving a big prod shows like A New Day

Madonna. Her tickets are expensive because she always do a big prod tour. Just like Beyonce’s concert or Taylor’s concert.

And that's what I said! The other day I specifically said and remarked that it was CELINE who is asking Sony for a triple English album, according to the Facebook Live Q&A event, and I clearly pointed at SONY to blame for this if it doesn't happen. I clearly praised her for suggesting that "triple album" idea. And then I'm called "psychotic" and the worst fan. Right!

I made this post about P!nk to show that things can be done way much better when promoting her last two English albums, and that when some fans defend her lack of releases all these 6 years because "touring is the #1 priority today", that cannot be more untrue. Releasing albums and touring can equally coexist together, it's a matter of the artist in question, and there's no tour without new music to present (only Celine has been doing it with the scarce additions of a couple of singles from Disney and a song from P!nk). When she goes on TV and sings a cover instead of a new song from her album, there's something wrong.

We've been saying she should leave Sony Music and go some other record label or do things on her own since ages ago, year after year. And when we get a new TV apparition and we start making guesses and then it's another letdown because it's nothing new, no new song premiered and so on, everyone starts saying she needs a manager, her team sucks, she needs someone to direct her and so on.

Note that I specifically started my post clearly saying that it wasn't my intention to bash nor attack Celine but showing another perspective of how other singers are doing it in the business, in 2019. And then I'm attacked for liking Madonna's presentation of her new single, the concept of her new videoclip, the promotion of P!nk and I am the worst unloyal fan ever Just because I marked the mistakes made in the past and showed things can still be done better when she released the next album.

I still think there's too much sensitivity in this forum towards people who are fans of other singers and we cannot speak freely and share different points of view without being insulted. It's very sad this is still happening.

If you like us to be quiet until we have the next Celine interview, or the next 10 second snippet from the new album, or the next time she says "i'm gonna release a new album sometime between tomorrow and 2027", then don't count with me, because I'm not that kind of fan

Sometimes it's because it's Celine herself who teases us with things she says she'll do, and then BAM, nothing happens. It never happens. And we know nothing about it anymore

Videoclip for new single (EUS) and "I can't wait for you to see my new video" and then the most absolute silence comes after it. Nada...

Now she's teasing us several times about how many dozens of songs she has for the new album and how excited she is and she wants to sing them all, and that she can't wait to sing them for us, but then... the same songs are performed over and over again. The same old hit is performed on a prime time TV show or, worst, a cover that has nothing to do with the new album. So let's see how MANY of the NEW songs she ends up singing in her tour, and on TV...

So eliminate the residency show. It will be less stressful for her

Some artists do this...

Release an album.. promote... tour.. then, they will have break for at least 2 years then, comeback with a new music. Then, repeat.

But i think céline wants to be busy.

What does it mean when céline says... She wants to evolve? Because she always say that when doing new albums
