well it seems we will get it in fall this year...
Well it better be something fantastic with no dry vocal recordings, good mixing of instruments and voice, Ashes- like powerballads, only great songs. Then i can wait.

In short, back to classic Céline (with reverbs, vocals not too forward it should blend with the instrumentals, softer vocals (example I Surrender from A New Day Has Come Album.. I don't know how they do it but they should do it again

oh yes nowadays they are afraid to use reverb on her voice. But Ashes on the other hand does have quite some reverb on her voice. Yes, back to the old days days please - classic Celine.
I have just been listening to a 2019 playlist of nowadays music...itis all so generic, same beats, lots of autotune - exceptions to the rule - imagine dragons . But that aside i really miss her voice being part of the music. When i listen to some tracks of encore un soir it sounds like the backgroundmusic is too soft and Celine is far standing in front of it and missing depth because of too less reverb being used.

It's not funny anymore! Specially when we get all the worst titles and the best ones are left for bonus tracks/songs that surface later and are better than those in the album!

Yeah, but in that sessions almost ALL the tracks she recorded were gems! No fillers then! Now she includes the so-so songs in the albums and the best songs are send to Japan editions for bonus tracks

Surely they can give us at least a double album?!
I mean, Drake's Scorpion had 25 tracks and that didn't hurt it any!

mwehh I can't call them all gems. All because of you is mwah for instance. But yes Map To My Heart should have been part of the regular TC album

they end up on spotify anyway so why not give us a 17 track album, like in the good old days;)?

YES! I wouldn't mine if it's Ballads vs Uptempo!
I am interested in what she said about speaking her mind through recording songs now though! I wonder what topics they will touch! And this coming from a woman who had to be persuaded to record This Time! Or was that René??

IDK about Super Love, but Nature Boy is one of my favorite English songs she's ever recorded. That, and At Last, are hands down the best tracks on that particular album.

NB is just another song which is a cover which was poorly executed and yet everyone loves it and yet detests other covers... why?
SL is soooooo cringey to me. I can cope with WTWOLYR because its great (i listen to the destinys child duet mosty lol) and i love SFL but Super Love and parts of Rain, Tax make me cringe

Because everybody has different tastes and preferences hence some love a song and others hate it. And that's why it's so great that there is so much diversity in her discography!

i think in the old days cds were the only medium and therefor albums had fillertracks but now everything is freely available on spotify and youtube every track should have hit potential. zhaving recorded so many songs it should be possible to fill the album with killertracks only;)

I also love the fact that she picked every song because she "loved" it (and not just "liked" it). And I love the fact that she suggested to make a oduble/triple album, but from what she said Sony apparently didn't like this idea, but they are thinking about it. Maybe this time they will really release a double album with upbeat songs on one disc and power ballads on the other disc. That would be like a dream come true! And i think that for a come back album, this is exactly what she should do, a huge album release with a big bang and a big awesome world tour!

NB is hardly "just another song". It's one of the masterpieces of 20th century songcraft.
And it's expertly executed.
And no, not everyone detests covers. I happen to love them, because the songs she chooses to cover are, for the most part, far superior to anything in her own repertoire.

Which version do you love more, the album version or the orchestra version?
