I've got a concert of Celine from very early 1997 which was one of those "by request" shows. You know, some mega-rich prince pays fro Celine to perform a concert. Everyone is sat at tables having dinner while she's performing. Has anyone else seen this show?? You really notice the audience being silent, but the funniest thing was Terry Bradford forgetting the words to BATB Hilarious. He just stared at Celine with that HUGE grin of his!!

Celine Did a show for the Prince or Sultan or King... Whatever he is of Brunei right before the Grammy Awards in 1997 where she performed All By Myself- (Remember her voice got a little rough during the big note) They (Celine team) blamed it away on her performing in Brunei the night before..... I wonder if that is the concert?

She's wearing the white suit/outfits from FIY tour. The concert is for Yam Pengiran Muda Abdul Hakeem - maybe Sultan of Brunei, don't know.

celine4evauk has already said it is on video and they dont know how to upload.
Just a quick tip celine4evauk ,there are loads of tutorials on the web,including youtube, which tell you many ways of converting your video either to dvd or onto your computer.Something which sounds this rare would sure be worth preserving by converting one way or the other?
Anychance you have a scanner or a digital camera?maybe we could have a pic of the cover at least??

How could they blame Brunei's party?
It was a Whirlwind trip- They were in Brunei and then had to turn around and fly back to the United States all within a few hours. They said that is why her voice was tired and a little off on ABM.
I also think it was written about in either For keeps or My story, my dream.

let us know if you manage to get the video put on to a DVD.There are places that transfere videos to dvd for you but they do cost so i guess that bit is up to you,but this video is very rare from what i can tell so it may be worth it in the long run?

Yeah, I really want to see it too! It looks great!!! Do you know of anyone who has a DVD recorder because you could always dub it from the video to the DVD and then easily convert it and upload it using the PC. I'm more than happy to e-mail you step-by-step instructions if you can get it onto DVD first.
