Wow, that's amazing what treasures are out there from over 11 years ago!!
Of course I would also looove to see that concert, "TT" live... :wub2:
I hope you can soon find a way to convert it into a digital video. ;)
I'm sure there are many people on this board who can help you with it or even do this for you but I can also well understand that you wouldn't like to give the VHS to anyone, even temporarely, hehe... ;)

I'm really surprised that it's a professional recordng released on VHS!
How come we didn't knew about it? Which label has released it?

It was given to someone from Sony, who then passed it onto me about 4/5 years ago. Its not a professional release -but it is professionally filmed.

Just wondering - is there anyone here in the UK who can convert a video onto this website??? Thought maybe someone would be able to do it, then anyone can download it from here if they want. Just an idea. :shrug:

Sounds cool.  I've heard of this before.  It's a very similar setlist to the FIY World Tour, with a few extra gems.  I couldn't imagine it being that different from the FIY Tour, or from the VHI Honors Show.  It would be cool to see some of the performances that weren't on the FIY Show.  

There's plenty of services out there for folks who need to copy a VHS tape to a DVD, and personal recorders for in-home use that do the same thing are a lot cheaper nowadays.  LOL

Ok, so i've finally found out that it was definitely for the Sultan of Brunei. There's a chapter in Georges-Herbert Germain book "Celine" (page 114) about the concert.
Yeah its very similar to Memphis show. Few differences would be its the white outfit, Terry Bradford forgetting a line in BATB,the way she introduces the singers etc during Le Ballet etc. No costume changes. Oh, and the entire show is LIVE. Yep, all of it - even TPOL. :clap:  :clap:

I'm working on it :D  Its one of my fave performances - her vocal is a bit raspy/cracking a bit on certain notes so you can tell easily that its live. I've just watched it twice  :clap:  :clap: Even the end of TPOL, the second to last line she sings it differently, lower than the normal way. Most of the talking is the same as memphis. But i love the bit during Le Ballet when she's introducing the singers. She sings a bit, then says "ok, we'll work on that" then says "you know what, you should be singers!"   :laugh:

And remember when she wore it on Oprah?!  Or at least some variation of it?  LOL

The white outfit was different, in a much more appreciate sorta way.  She also had a black version of it, that she wore a few times [there's a live performance of ABM on youtube of her wearing it], and no, I am not talking about the LAP black outfit.  ALL THESE COOTCHIE CUTTIN CATSUITS.  ugh!  LOL
