just because the encore is so good!
cause no one really knew she was going to do this song, she only did it for only night only!
I could really name like 100 more........ but I think this really tops it for now.
Elle est mon idéal, La plus grande étoile
Will be going to Celine march 2 and 5 2016 and June 20 and 21 2016

A lot of my favourite Live performances are already posted:
LBDBM at the Juno awards; F*CK Celine might have had a vocal flaw, but her attitude of: Ok I might be going on a break but I am the ONE and ONLY DIVA B*TCHES is just AMAZING!!
MHWGO at the Worlds Childerns Day concert: some say it's not that good vocally, but IMO it's the best and most magical performance of the song
Ton Visage: OMFD! How I obsessed with this song! it's pure brilliance and how Celine sings it, is just heaven! I wish she recorded it in HQ live or on studio at one point in time!
WFTM, GBA, QONQL @ Saint Justine, there are sooo many wonderful and briljant performances through the years that proves that Celine is one of the very best of her generation!
Anyway I couldn't decide, so I made a top 10 correction, top 12
of my favourite live performances, of songs that haven't been posted yet!
12: Ce N'Etait Qu'un Rêve @ Star d'un soir 1988
Here you can hear the power of her adult voice in its early stage.
Crystal clear and very powerful, it's one of the best full performances of the song.
Also watch Adhémar rocking the accorDION later in the video!!
11: L'amour viendra @ Chez Michel Jasmin 1981
She might came across a bit weird during the interview, when Céline sang, she lit up! For a 12 year old she has a lot of power in her voice and it showcases what's to come!
10: Only One Road @ The Tonight Show with Jay Leno 1994
I think vocally Céline was at her vocal peak in 1994. It was so crystal clear and every performance sounded just like the album version. I sometimes miss the ease with which she runs through the note scheme.
9: Délivremoi @ Winter Garden 1991
Back before DUAM was bombarded as seule opening for a French concert, back in the late 80's/early 90's she had the fabulous Delivre Moi! How I wish she would bring this song back to life! It's just so much fun!
8: Destin @ L'école Des Fan - 2005
Back in 2005 she was still in Vegas, vocally she had a couple of bad years and we didn't know if she would ever sing her old French classics again. Then comes this performance of Destin, which made me think: YES that's our old Céline back! Love the ending and the fact that Julie LeBlanc her old backup singer was part of the show!
7: Je N'ai Pas Peur De Mourir Avec Toi @ Simplement Marnay 2003
There's no video available of this performance, but none the less a perfect example of Céline being able to perform an emotional song with great vocal reserve and touch the perfect feelings. All the songs she sang that night were a surprise, choice wise and vocal wise, but this one is my favorite.
6: Loved Me Back To Life @ Une Seule Fois 2013
Not intended as an original part of the show, but became one of the highlights of the evening! To me it shows, when Céline loves something, she will go for it all the way and gives 100% I love this unedited version with its flaws, it was raw and awesome! Too bad her reaction isn't included, she was so freaking proud!
5: Hélène with Jacques Goldman & Roche Voisine @ Tapis Rouge 1998
I love this simple retention of this song... I wish Céline recorded more plain songs like this! I love how their voices blend! It's deffo one of the songs I played a lot when I was younger.
4: Je Sais Pas @ Tournée Européenne Antwerpen Sportpaleis 22-11-2013
She was totally into the song that night!
3: Where Does My Heart Beat Now @ Winter Garden 1991
Another performance of the Winter Garden concert. I love this retention of WDMHBN. The passion with which she sings it! I think it's one of the best out there. Especially the encore @ 6:00 never stops to leave me an awe.
2: Un peu plus haut with Jean-Pierre Ferland & Ginette Reno @ Sur les Plaines 2008
I can't believe no one has mentioned this song yet!! This ending of the SLP concert was EPIC!! The song itself is emotional and profound, but Céline brought it to another level. Finally singing with her longtime idol Ginette, Céline couldn't help herself anymore and cried through the song. It touches me every time!
1: Ce N'était Qu'un Reve @ La Dernière De Céline 1999
Encore... encore UNE chanson!
I think that I watched this live video the most. It was a perfect ending to the concert; wrapping up 18 years of history; a perfect circle with ending her career, at that point, with the song that started it all. Never in her concerts was a song better selected to end a show. We didn't know what was going to happen, how long she would be on a break, but for this farewell song, Céline gave her all!
I hope you enjoyed my rambling

Think Twice (1995 World Music Awards)
Love this performance to bits. She sounds as good, if not better, than the studio recording. Definitely the best rendition of this song.
Acoustic Medley (1999 Au cœur du stade)
Beautiful renditions of the earlier hits from her French career. The simple arrangements are relaxing and her voice was so great during the LTAL tour.
Water and a Flame (2013 Sans attendre Tour)
Amazing! She's so emotional during the bridge till the end. Her movements, her eyes, her playing with the microphone cord, everything about this performance is so classy.
Comme un cœur froid (1988 Incognito Tour)
Despite being an earlier video, she had a lot of power and sounded great for her age. So much emotion and passion put into this song. I hope we get some of these older gems on DVD eventually.
Love Is on the Way (1998 Let's Talk About Love Tour)
Beautiful song, it's a shame that it's only been performed on one tour. She sounds great and I hope this song eventually finds a way back into one of Celine's setlists.

Mais qui peut dire, qu’il peut vivre sans amour, qui?

I love this too! I think she should bring this back to replace LCMM -- even if it's not one of her own songs, it has so much energy and fun, and pretty much everyone knows it. Would love to hear her sing this again!

This is another.
http://m.youtube.com...?v=W0LN9LWYdnE#
She was just so pure and funny here. I believe all of her Rosie o'donnell performances were the best of any performance, well most. This is just priceless, didn't know Rosie had it in her.
http://m.youtube.com...?v=pHdpqqOaAwU#
Speaking of Rosie performances, this has to be one of the greatest ever. On another note it helped me learn to make my voice do the horseness or raspy qualities. Just a powerful performance.
http://m.youtube.com...?v=pHdpqqOaAwU#
And who can forget this when she just plainly bested Adele in the easiest way possible. The ease of this performance isn't even humane. You've gotta love her for these moments.

I love her rendition of Seduces Me here, couldve gone without the creepy dudes all over her, but hey if that's what she likes then… .... Anywho she was great alone lol
http://m.youtube.com...?v=uO-77cP_RRk#
I think I lolve pretty much all of her POL.. Just top three though.

Rosie was one of the HUGE platforms for Celine back in the 90s. Rosie, Oprah, Jay, Larry --- all of these platforms equaled Celine dominating the 90s in the US.
