I'm at work (don't tell my boss I'm posting here...) and I can access you tube, but there's a performance of To Love You More with Taro in Vegas that I think it's just amazing.

There are so many great live performances that it's hard to choose -- and I agree with so many already posted -- In Some Small Way on Jay Leno; TCOML with David Foster; God Bless America in New York right after 9/11 . . . but here are some other amazing ones:
Fly on Oprah . . the emotion here was so heartfelt . . so heartbreaking but so beautiful:
Because You Loved Me on David Foster and friends. . love how she basically sang it to him -- looking at him especially when singing about him believing in her, seeing the best in her, and making dreams come true. . you could feel the genuine mutual respect and affection there. And she sounded great!
You've Got a Friend on Diva's Live -- love the chemistry and harmonies among the women:
I also really love Celine singing Une Chance Qu'on S'a with JP Ferland at the '98 Junos, but I haven't been able to find that for quite some time. . .

I don't remember if it was mentioned in this thread, but Natural Woman on Letterman was out of this world.

There was a French version of You And I? really? and I didn't know she did some songs off of d'elles live other than the first 2. I love Immensite live, have I mentioned that yet? Love love love it, even though on night 1 in Antwerp, she forgot the words. Oh well!

Sorry to say that again, but this topic is about live performances, not lipped songs in TV shows or concerts nor studio recordings.

Hate to break the news, but Le temps qui compte and On s'est aimé à cause are lipped. I do hope that one day, she'll perform the latter live.

Mais qui peut dire, qu’il peut vivre sans amour, qui?

Here are some of my very favorite live performances :
All by Myself - Taratata, 1996
This TV show took place a few days after the very first time I saw Celine in concert. How crazy I was watching this ! What a memory !
---
Do you hear what I hear - These are the Special Times TV Special, 1998
I love both the song and the duet !
---
Je Crois Toi - Live 2013
My one and only very favorite ever...
This unexpected performance is so smooth, so subtle and so right. Love the instrumental part most of all, too !
---
Les Derniers seront les Premiers - Falling Into You World Tour, 1996
I've always loved this song, wish she would sing it again, it sounds really cool on stage !
---
Je t'aime Encore - A New Day... Live in Las Vegas, 2003
I love this song and this live performance is perfect. The silence at the very end is very emotional.
---
I Surrender - A New Day... Live in Las Vegas, 2007
Just because well...this is the Celine that we all love, isn't it ?!
---
Seduces Me - Rosie O'donnell Show, 1997
Once again, I simply love the song and this performance shows how good is Celine as a vocalist and how good she expresses feelings with her interpretation.
---
Quand on n'a que l'Amour - St Justine Hospital Charity gala, 2007
I had never been fond of the original song but the way Celine sings it always moves me and I love the fact that she keeps on singing it from time to time throughout the years. That particular performance with the choir is very powerful.

I feel like I'm going to devestated a lot of people here.... But a solid 60% of I Surrender is lipsynced. She sings the first verse live, then playback starts with the chorus and continues until the next to last portion. She sings live at the end beginning with "right here, right now..."

So many wonderful performances that I haven't seen in a while!
I'm curious -- for those of you posting lipped performances -- do you care that she lipped them?
As far as I Surrender is concerned -- my favorite part of that Vegas performance is when she starts singing with "Right Here, Right Now". SO GOOD! I wish for the DVD taping, she sang the entire thing live.
I also wonder if it's as blatantly obvious to some fans when she's lipping and when she's not. I guess it depends on how obsessed you are!

The way I look at this is that she had to sing it live to get that track. If she had to lip it, maybe there's some underlying reason we don't know about.

I honestly don't care one bit, even when I pay to see her! Now, when she does it bad then it's painful to see! (Some of the shows she was on for promo.....)
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

I usually am so excited just to be near her that I don't care either if she's lipping or not.

As a blind person, who by the way is very obsessed and proud of it though I HATE THAT WORD!!!!!! I DON'T CARE!!!!!! To be honest, I wish it never ever ever ever had to be discussed ever again but I know that's not realistic. But seriously, I wish people would quit ruining it for those of us who don't care. I agree with what was said earlier, just to be near her. She means her songs and that is obvious, even to the dumb blind lady here!
