The passing of Queen Elizabeth depply affected so many people all around the world. She was a remarkable person who certainly influenced generations of women through the years. The end of an era has come and I feel sad that she's gone but also grateful that I had the chance be here on Earth along with this great lady.

Well, most of us here are millennials (even Gen X). We've been with this flat-chess woman for decades. I mean her every song has touched us in different ways, but to listen to Celine's only since then, it's a hard pill to swallow =)). My playlist now goes with the flow on Spotify, but to remind me of something important in life, it's still Celine's.

I'm a curriculum writer. Her songs inspire me so much in the process of writing. I name a lot of learning blocks after Celine's songs. For example, Next Plane Out (to learn about planes and helicopters),  Come and Gone (a piece of lyrics in Don't Save It All For Christmas Day) as a unit title to teach seasons; or Here, There and Everywhere (transportation and going places)

Thanks but it just seems like a VERY SUCKY YEAR AGAIN! Last year I have lost family members, now one of my all time favorite singers got diagnosed with a rare disease that will force her into early retirement! Sorry but life sucks!

Wow I think that is pretty neat! I am a daycare teacher so that inspires me as well! I MISS CELINE TOO, I really miss her!

By the way, may I ask how do you get a job as a curriculum writer? I think that sounds like a pretty cool job as a fellow educator!

I miss Celine so much too, IT BREAKS MY HEART that I might never get to see her in concert, that we might never get new music from her ever again or even see her again!

Last I chatted with her, she was having some health problems and my brain whose automatic default is to immediately freak out, worries that something awful happened. She was fading as a fan last time we talked, and as hurt as I would be if that was why she couldn't AT LEAST get on here and thank me for the birthday greeting, that would AT LEAST be nice to know. I do not have her personal email address any longer so I cannot reach out outside the forum and my attempts to do so within the forum have gotten me totally, completely ignored. That is NOT the kind of woman I thought she was. She is from South Africa and in her late 60s or early 70s now, so if ANYONE is friends with her on here or can send her a message to let her know Christina from California misses and wonders about her, maybe you'll have better luck than I have! Anyway... I don't know about the rest of you but I HATE all the lockdowns, restrictions, how I have not been able to do pottery for a whole effing year, etc. And although I am probably outnumbered in saying this, I DREADFULLY, HORRIBLY miss Céline during this! One fan friend who will probably call me in the next day or two and faint from the shock of me posting on here, (I think you know who you are!) says Céline misses us, too. I never want her to be in any more suffering than humanly required, so this may make me sound selfish but I hope she does, honestly. I hope those who WANT vaccines can QUICKLY, EASILY, AFFORDABLY get them, and basically, I JUST WANT MY LIFE BACK! That didn't used to be so much to ask, but now that seems to be the equivalent of asking someone to climb freaking Mount Everst! Anyway... enough needless, useless, meaningless rambling out of me! Hey there how are you doing? Yea things have been REALLY ROUGH & REALLY SCARY these days!

Have you heard about what has happened with Celine a few months ago? She got diagnosed with this rare disease called Stiff Persons Syndrome, & it has prevented her from singing, performing concerts, etc & she might be facing early retirement! It is very heartbreaking to me that I might never get the chance to see her in concert or be able to hear her sweet beautiful voice ever again in any new songs!

Since "Courage" will most likely be Celine's very last album of TOTALLY NEW songs that she has released, we should try to make one of the songs off that albums go #1 somehow, like when Mariah Carey & her fans did that with her dang overplayed Christmas song a few years back lol (sorry I have nothing against Mariah, & I used to love "All I want for Christmas is you", but that song has been played to death in recent years in my opinion! Moving on...)

But I remember Mariah's fans making that song #1 on the charts again, & I think we should all try that for Celine with one of the "Courage" album songs! So what do you think? Please let me know & hopefully it will happen, please spread this around to all of your friends, family, & other Celine fans on social media. Thanks so much!

Whew, I just came back from my family vacation in Florida with my kids, boyfriend, & my parents & his parents, so it was the 8 of us lol. Whewwww, it was fun but also exhausting at times, especially with young kids & older family members lol. Now I have been resting up before I have to go back to work on Monday lol. Like everyone else here, I am patiently waiting for my chance to see Celine again! I pray she is healthy and strong enough to take the stage again and do what she does best. I refuse to believe she is finished. So, in keeping busy and trying to enjoy summer, my vacation this year was a trip to Cape Cod! In my travels through Massachusetts, I visited my 11th Zoo.
