Amateurish?  Are you kidding me?  Barry Harris was one half of Thunderpuss whose remixes were included on major artists' releases.  Artists including: Celine, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Lara Fabian, Christina Aguilera, Gloria Estefan, Cher, Madonna, Britney Spears and many, many others.  In regards to "I Want You To Need Me," it was Sony and Celine's team who approached Thunderpuss to do a remix of the song.  There is no way in heck that Sony and Ceine's team would bother themselves to ask a team or someone who is "amateurish" to work on a project for them and then include that person/those persons' work on multiple CD-singles the world over.  Barry has also done remixes of a solo nature which are still played and requested at countries the world over including: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and Israel.  He is one of the biggest remixers who still gets contracts for big events.  Furthermore, he takes the time with his remixes to ensure they are NOT amateurish.  Watch the video below.  In it, while working with Adele's recent smash hit "Hello," he explains how he takes the time to remove the, as he puts it, "billy goat" effect which so many remixes retain when an artist's vocals are sped up.  He explains how the song is about the artist and not just making a song frenzied, frantic, etc.  I highly recommend getting to know someone's work before trying to belittle them with name calling.

Agreed!  It's really too bad circumstances became what they were when "Loved Me Back To Life" released.  "Somebody Loves Somebody," "Breakaway," "Save Your Soul" and "Unfinished Songs" all could have had amazing remixes made for them.  I really hope Barry is able to do something with "Somebody Loves Somebody."  In the meantime, though, he may be able to remix something else of Celilne's.
