Honestly, I don't like all of the pictures....... Don't get me wrong but the mirror one looks dodgy and a bit slutty. I love Celine and I don't want outsiders saying that she's 'revealing' beacause her new albums coming out. I won't stand it  
She's gorgeous WITH her clothes on. This wasn't very Celine-ish for me. At first I was sure it was photoshopped. Sorry, but not my cup of tea.
But I love her as always   She looks gorgeous!

These pictures were definately nothing to me either look at the Incognito through self titled eras. She was probably trying to sexxy then and now wearing the mini skirts come on!. However I do respect others opinions about the pictures it's just I never thought she was that conservative. But I know of the shock because it killed me when Mariah started wearing less and less. I don't know it's to me Celine can get away with it.

Everyone has the right to an opinion but some opinions are inherently dismissive and insulting, with further implications than just personal taste.  It's one thing if someone just says the photoshoot was trashy or not tasteful, and they didn't like it.  That's fine. But others made insinuations about how such pictures would reflect on Celine's morals, values and the values in general of women who dress provocatively (comparing her to other women that they obviously consider "whores"). Do you realize how insulting that is?
Justifying it with "culture" is a copout.  If it's against your culture, no one's forcing to look at the pictures or make them your screensaver.  But telling us how it's so indecent and disgusting because YOUR culture deems it so is forcing your morals down our throats.  

On a related note, there's this one "Celine fan" making the rounds on articles about this photoshoot, repeating this hilarious rant which I'm sure sums up the naive and misguided view that MANY Celine fans have of her being some immaculate virgin:

Some pictures I like, some I don't. She looks fabulous in all of them, but the outfits in some just don't hit it for me. No biggie. She can do what she wants. Personally, I like what mainstream calls "topless" photos....which never show the women topless, but covered in an unconvetional way. They are almost always flattering and feminine.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but please don't make it an "everyone MUST believe like me!" opinion.

PS not a fan of the bangs, but I do love the sexy shoot!! You Go Celine!!

There's nothing artistic, value in this photos, nothing new. Each of these images has been seen a million times in various magazines, music videos,.... This black clothing, also gloves and boots are typical cliche that we've seen on her and on other famous women millions times before. These photographers just keep repeating themselves, they have lost contact with art.

About Celine, nothing surprising. Did we saw various paparazzi's photos of her in bikini? Yes.  Why some people are upset claiming that she sold her body, and that she hadn't done this before. I'm not surprised. Everybody, medias, including Celine forgot some pictures from the 90,  or when she wore too much transparent dress for a Grammy Awards in 1993,  or her cabaret performance on tv show.  Did she posed in monokini for some photo session, image from previous page? Yes. We saw even more in documentary Through The Eyes Of the World, when she changed clothes for another segment on her concert.

I like most of the pics but have to admit that some came as a shock.  I guess that is a good thing coming from a fan because we think we've seen it all from her, so imagine what a surprise this will take the general public by. Whether people like it or hate it, it definitely has created some buzz around her, which is probably what they were aiming for when they did this photoshoot. Surely when Celine took the revealing shots, she thought to herself, "This oughta get them talking." I agree that this is not at all like her, but it's refreshing to see something new like this especially since there's a new generation of people out there who don't even know who she is.  She is elegant and classy either way.  Nicole Kidman did a lot more worse on the cover of the magazine if you ask me.

Let's not forget that Celine bared her breasts in "Des fleurs sur la neige." Plus she had some pretty sexy fashions back in the earily 1990s. If fans would put down their LTAL CD and look at her other work, they might know these things.

i have no problem with celine taking topless pics....as long as it is classy.  As for the mirror pic, it is the hair-style, the ribbon in the hair, and the eye-make up that annoys me.  It makes her look old, and it somehow links my mind as seeing Joan Rivers taking a topless pic, which is not my appetite.

Imagine, the "Celine's back" pic that is being used for the Vegas show posters.  If she is topless in that pic, and it turns out with that kind of atmosphere, i have absolutely no problem with that.

But seeing that dolls outfit pic, and that rainbow-turkey outfit pic, I could really see how Celine was going all crazy and having a good time during the photo-shoot, and I kinda happy that she did it, since she had fun.  And as we could see from the interview, she is still the same Celine that we have attached ourselves to, she is still that grounded mom, that kind and generous singer that we have all grown up with. So afterall, BRAVO, Celine!  

I am curious what Annie Horth thinks about this photo-shoot.

this photo shoot has made my LIFE!!! i am in love with it!!! i am slightly shocked that all the articles reporting it are going with the 'celine bares all' route as the headlines?? as this shoot doesnt seem so far away from all the one heart and TC tour program stuff she did before and its not 'celine is daring in sexiest shoot yet' as if she has never dared to look sexy before - shes done plenty of sexy shoots - i guess more and more recently people just dont expect it of her so its maybe more leftfield for the masses?....although u can see through that black top! haha love it - its about time she had some fun and she looks ridiculously glamorous in these shots! i LOVVVEEE the one with the dungarees and the rabbit mask

I' m surprised and glad of se something different in celine's photoshoots.. it's funny what some of you consider "topless" pics.. hehege.. these are very innocent.. i like th them so much, some very sophisticated and these time pop culture friendly. Maybe i like less the fetishist one with the leather, it reminds me tking chances and the drag style

To the people that complain she never tries anything new and only talks about her kids and being a mother, what exactly do you want her to do? She is GIVING you new and out of her comfort zone material and you are just spitting it up like an immature crying baby! This is one of the main reasons I have tried coming back here and can never fully do so, some people here are just such downers, I want to come and talk to other celine fans but in the end have to keep my excitement for her new material and projects to myself because people here rip her to shreds.
