I think Celine sung the song just great, she has tha hability to "mimic" others artist's voices, so she sung it a little bit like Adele, and I think she did a great job

Was Celine's performance of RITD was in a higher key than Adele's version ? Her version seems to be a semitone higher.

She did a great job although I don't like that song.

After hearing that clip of RITD, I can say this is the first time I've been excited about Celine in quite a while.  It's exactly what I needed.  She sounds amazing!  I cannot wait to hear the rest of it.

I don't see how anyone could doubt Celine's voice.  Franchement, I don't think Adele's is anything to write home about.

Celine's singing in the original key of the song...I think Adele lowers it for performances

I wouldn't mind if "Rolling in the Deep" was on the album as well. Of course, I wished she would have picked "Set Fire to the Rain," it would have been a much better choice and is much closer to Celine's signature syle. But, I hope she doesn't go too far with the Adele train because I'm already quite sick of Adele to be perfectly honest. It is nice to know however, that Celine is singing something and not just remaining idle, even if it is an Adele song.

She sings it better than the former..

and Celine SOARS way better than her too...

Yeah, it's a higher key than Adele's performances.

I agree with the comment about Céline's pronunciation — it was much better back in the day and that's the one thing I wish she'd work on. Still, it's adorable.

My "fan ego" somehow dies a little bit when Celine does a song from a popular singer who is hot right now (she did covers all her life, but not when the original singer was on the mainstream, like Adele is) I feel like Celine is NOW the one paying tribute,like she is saying "my time has pass"

Celine is eternal, she knows it, so she is afraid of nothing, and she can do whatever she wants

I listened to the short clip of Rolling in the Deep this morning. It was wonderful!   I hope it sticks around until next year - I want a chance to see it!

I like Adele's version, but to be honest, I liked this one better.

Hi All,

I saw the show again last night (Sat. June 9th) and is was absolutley wonderful! Her voice is as strong as ever and she appeared to be so elated to be back doing something she loves to do so much.  Celine did an absolutely outstanding job with Adele's song, making it a smashing hit with the audience. I didn't get the impression she was taking from someone else's sucess, but rather, honoring other artists.  While memorializing someone is nice, honoring others carries a bigger blessing since that person is still alive to receive the accolades.  Her performance of Adele's song is just one more indication of Celine's tremendous talent.  Jaye

I totally take back what I said here!!! Just saw the show tonight and absolutaly LOVED this part of the show!! It is one of the BEST parts of the show...she sings it so good, she really enjoys singing it too.... the audience loved it. She wears the white dress for it.... I now love this song and cant get it out of my head !!! Show was brill..... She looked great...love her new blonde hair..... But ya basically just wanted to say The Adele song is Class!! She sings it so good  , liked the Adele version when it was out,but i have to say i much prefer Celines voice singing it:yes: Go Celine!!!

If you are fortunate to see the show in Las Vegas just forget all those comments about this being lipped and that being lipped.  You are going to have a classy night with a lady who could so very easily retire tomorrow and concentrate on her family and we have the fortune to see whatever she decides to put on for us.  Take it from me, you will not feel cheated or short changed in any way.  I am just so sorry I never got to see A New Day live as I have worn out the Blu Ray from looking at it!  I will never get that chance as that show will probably never be repeated but she puts on an extremely classy and entertaining new show which can be enjoyed by all her fans.  If you want to spoil things with unproven smug comments about this being lipped and that being lipped then open a thread for people who want to talk about only this and stop spoiling the magic for those who are saving to go and see the show or have already made the trip and don't want their memories destroyed by these allegations.  

I had the misfortune of having tickets for the cancelled period so I went to see O instead and can see why Celine and Rene wanted to work with Dragone on A New Day.  Next time I go to Vegas she will not be on so another opportunity missed.  I would love to be one of the fortunate people who get to see this coming run and hope that all do have a fantastic time and soak up all the joy and atmosphere provided by the top female entertainer of our generation.  It will be a long time before anyone can touch Celine and we need to appreciate her while we can.  How lucky we are to be living now.

I agree, I am sick and tired of people forcing the opinion of her lipping onto others, These people just analyse you tube videos and dont actually go to the shows that much as far as i can see. I saw the show tonight and i have seen it twice before, i really dont think she lipped at any stage of the show at all.... And yes i agree it can spoil the magic for alot of peple who read on here constantly that she is lipping. Go to the shows, open your ears and eyes, she is singing live. I think also as a fan-forum there should not be so many posts allowed on here forcing their opinions regarding lipping, it is spoiling things for people, making them not want to go see her show maybe,   Maybe those people should open a "for the believers of celines lipping forum", but here as a fan i find it dishearteninng to read on every thread how people make out she is lipping, (and if she was, why would you be forcing others to believe it aswell). im not a celine- roses in the garden kind of fan, but jeez shes not lipping people.....bla bla bla

I don't really know how the song fits in with her show, but she might just be giving us a taste of her new album's style. The nice thing about her show is that she can basically perform whatever she wants. I just like to hear her slay that song, and its popularity might gain her more younger fans. She sounds incredible and the song almost sounds too easy for her

Yeah! It's so cool hearing Céline singing a current song for a change!     I'm also glad the MJ tribute is out! It had its run... it's great Céline is looking forward now, itstead of looking back

I can't listen to a full album of Adele, the way she sings annoys me a bit... Céline does indeed sound magnificent!
I think her loosing getting that infection was a good thing, cos now she appreciates again what she's got!

Im also asking the same thing.... haha... and in the first place, why only record a portion of it? Its not too difficult to leave a phone recording the entire time without security seeing it, right? lol... im guessing some people just want to keep us hanging... please can somebody already post the full version...
