Could anyone here not agree that she sounded on top of flawless for this live version.......just beautifully sang.....before Celine even perform....i've been imagine how Celine voice to go along with this song....but ended up this turned up to be fabulous.....and beyond my imagination....pround of Celine....

Never cared for this song so much, but this one really moved me.

She masters the soft notes again, she sounds like TCOML-era.

I really got chills all over, and tears in my eyes.

I hope she takes better care of her voice from now on, so that she will keep this clear sound. If not (I really hope that won't be the case), NOW is the time to record your albums. At least 1 in French and 1 in English. Oh imagine how it would sound!

Yes, I totally understand its about those people, its their moment and not Céline's. But that doesn't involve to eliminate her from the TV screen. Oscar Awards is a major TV event for which TV channels from every corner of the world pay a lot of $$$ to get the license for broadcasting. Since she was there in person, and we were not seated in the theater to watch her in front of us like the audience could do, the least they could have done is to share the screen with her, even if it had been a tiny Céline against the pictures of the dead. Since she was there!...

Otherwise, like I said, they'd better asked Céline to record the song in the studio and let it play along the orchestra. She wasn't needed for what they did

I agree about her look. I thought she looked younger when she showed up on the red carpet at Caesars a couple weeks ago. I was more angry that I didn't get to see her gorgeous face and sexy body while she performed  "Smile"    Which by the way was my favorite version! But I still love her more than anything
