Yea but after that she said she wasn't going to anymore for some reason. She wouldn't be outside that long, just a few minutes. I don't think it would hurt her voice :shrug:

does anybody know how long the show on tv takes?? I still dont know of it's worth waking up in the middle of the night if it's too long and celine will sing at the end

Well I'm not a professional singer so I wouldn't know, but I do remember her saying something to that effect... and we know (from watching the AND material for example) that humidity and temperature etc is something she takes seriously...

Smile, should be a walk in the park for her to sing, as long as there is no technical issues: earphones, mic probs.

I'm gonna watch the red carpet on ''E'' but then I'm off to bed, & I'll catch her performance when I get up in the morning. :)

Yeah likewise Darren. Got the cermony all set to record on Sky Movies but am definitley gonna watch the red carpet on E! Whether on not Celine appears on it the red carpet back slapping sessions are always fun lol.

I really think it's more about how it affects her voice (the cold, the weather, the talking and interviewing right before a performance) than who she's wearing, although she said she hates being asked that superficial question over and over and then being expected to sing- I don't think she'll walk the carpet. I mean that's just a completely personal opinion, but she would have to answer so many questions about the new show of course, and she seems like talking right beforehand she tries to keep to a mnimum at these kinds of things. Although I would LOVE to see her float across that carpet!

It's in the low 50s- she'll still be cold. :laugh:  She needs a permanent humidity bubble.

I'm surprised tho that shes done soundcheck for the same venue/song twice in two days... but this is gonna be incredible!

It's likely the organisers insisted on it more than Celine feeling she needed it.

maybe... but I kinda feel that shes a bit paranoid about performing live on tv at such a huge event in front of so many, just because of previous technical glitches shes experienced, ie, the grammy's, and the xfactor... and she just wants to make sure that everything is fine, for her own peace of mind, bless her.

Absolutely! Also let's not forget its her first (second if we count Oprah) TV appearance singing past year Grammys and what a pressure must be of an event like the Oscars! Huge audience here! :ermm:  Bless her twice! :thumbsup2:
