Ummm... ok... Well that explains why Celine didn't give a straightforward answer on Larry King. They obviously have not come up with a new idea then. I wonder why they cancelled it... All the complaing? Well I hope that those who kept on complaining about the movie theme will be happy if in the end they go back to TPOL, TLYM, IDAN, IACBTMN, BYLM, LCMM,...

Edit: Didn't see Ronny's post. LCMM!!! REALLY?! I hope that is not true... Am I the only one considering selling my tickets? I don't think it is worth spending a shitload of money and flying across the world to go and listen to songs that we have heard a thousand times before...

the reason and declaration of love, are songs i would LOVE to see with an orchestra, and for me she sang those not so many times so i'm happy with those!

No one actually ''knew'' lcmm would be in this show, as we've heard nothing about this new show apart from she'd sing her biggest hits ( lcmm ) isn't one of her biggest hits, as well as hollywood movie songs, and now thats apparently changed too.

And Claudette is right, I'm not gonna spend all that time and money flying to Vegas to hear that song again... and its not about being silly, or acting spoilt, its been sung, screeched and played to death, and most people don't even no the words or have even heard of this song, apart from the die hard fans...

Fair enough TPOL, MHWGO, BYLM, ACBTMN & TLYM will always be sung by her because they are her ''biggest hits'' that people will still want to hear, but not LCMM... please!

Change the record Celine, literally...

You have other songs that fans want to hear if you are also singing songs that weren't big hits...

So think of you're die hard fans as well as the high rollers, and normal vegas tourists... who actually buy everything you realease, who truely support you... who travel around the world, and back and forward to Vegas, and who actually make you're shows as successful as they are!

Its not asking much really...

I agree, the best would be awesome... but are those songs reveled even from a reliable source? did mego say it?

I don't mind Celine's hits but RDMH... again? it was great to speed up A New Day, nice thing on the tour... but now... they should do sth else...
I wonder if they are gonna include any new CELINE songs and if any songs that she hasn't performed at all (because Declaration of Love was on the tour in the 90s... for example although it could be interesting)
all in all, it'd be a little weird if they don't include anything new, don't you think? or maybe Celine got some inspiration and will surprise us with sth?

Listen I AGREE with you, but all im saying is she has been singing LCMM forever now, im not expecting her to stop singing it any time soon though i wish she would...  

I KNEW it would be in the last tour, and I KNOW its gonna be in the new vegas show. we got to learn to accept it. but RDMH should be rid of, TLYM should be gone as well.

The hits she should sing are MHWGO, BYLM, IACBTMN in full execept the 7min IACBTMN... then add other popular songs like TTWII, ANDHC,etc..

the only thing i'm afraid of, is that i have paid lotsss of money just to see a combo of: TCOL, FIY, LTAL concert...
although i was afraid that the whole hollywood concept was going to be about old love song and not the big soundtracks, i rather had those, then an greatest hits show, she doesnt need that now...

I know that Celine or anyone else will not give a rats #ss, but if ''lcmm'' is in the show, I can safely say I won't bother going to Vegas... I'll wait for the dvd, that i'll get free from my contact and simply fast forward that song!

1) maybe they've heard of opinions shared on this forum
2) maybe they decided not to do this afterall
3) maybe it'd be too much for Celine to do new stuff so soon
4) maybe there will be another concept?
5) or finally maybe Celine decided not to go with hollywood songs we all know but with sth completely new - you remember how inspired she was after giving birth to RC and then they released ANDHC

or.... they are just lazy

The worst thing about Celine's old songs is that they will surely go with songs like MHWGO, LCMM, TPOL, BYLM etc while there is plenty of old material that we would love to hear even if they wouldn't release anything new...

I want it gone just as much as you, and i can see your point. you would be traveling from the U.K to vegas to see Celine and a show that has almost all the same songs, but for me im going because i live in the States and its not far for me to travel also i love Las Vegas in general and Celine being there is just a bonus, that i get to see my favorite artist when im there...

That is exactly how I feel about this Darren. It is totally unfair for those of us paying a shitload of money and flying halfway across the world to see the show. It is not worth it. That is why the movie songs were a good idea in my opinion. At least it would have been songs we've never heard before. Well if the reason they cancelled the movie concept is because of some people's constant whining, I hope they are happy with themselves. Because then a handful of people ruined it for the rest of us. And I'm sorry to say that, but that is just how I feel.

YAY!!! So glad the hollywood theme is cancelled!   

And I can't believe we might get to hear The Reason and Declaration of Love again! I wonder if they will use the old playbacks?

Darren, LCMM is a Celine tradition. She will sing this song in every concert until she dies!   It would be such a shame to drop it after all these years, it's the only old song she obviously still enjoys performing.

I might be the only one, but I have a good feeling about this show now. This show is going to be CELINE. No one else's songs to cover, just her music. This gives us the opportunity to hear songs that she hasn't sung in over 10 years, and with the orchestra I think the show will be very special indeed. OK, we'll hear all the old hits again, but they'll have fresh new orchestral arrangements. We might even hear the full versions again this time!

I just hope the setlist isn't the same as AND/TCWT with the covers replaced by TR and DOL.
