I finally listened to this interview and here is what Mego said:

Lots of new songs, not new-new...as she's not doing a new album...a show about Celine's classics and other "musical classics."  (not necessarily from musicals is what that means...but "Classics".)

The interviewer said that the CONCEPT has changed.  
Did anyone actually listen to this?  LOL  So everyone's thinking the wrong things.

This statement has nothing to do with Celine's new album.. It is refering to her Vegas show. Meaning we will be getting songs we aren't use to hearing Celine sing necessarily but won't be getting new original songs as if Celine had dropped a new album.

so its possibe by "new" he means new older Celine songs that she hasnt performed in about 10 years ie: The Reason, Declaration Of Love.

If she's not going to release an album, then she should be singing songs that didn't get the chance to be heard on radio and what not. So many songs from celine deserve some recognition. I think its a good time to present these songs to the world, while she has nothing to promote.

Thank God that didn't happen!  If anything was to have been "recycled" from "A New Day..." (aside from "River Deep, Mountain High") into the "Taking Chances World Tour" it would have had to have been "I Surrender."

I wouldn't mind a new medley with 3-4 songs consisting of either:
WDMHBN, The Last To Know, Nothing Broken But My Heart, Water From The Moon, IYAMT, and OOR.

I wouldn't mind BYLM, but only in the full version. Same with IACBTMN - only in the full version. TLYM needs to go. It has no significance aside from being a song performed way to damn much.

A French medley would be nice, similar to the one she did in ACDS. But she should also throw in ONE full french song to.

I like "To Love You More" and with the full orchestra I think it will sound more fresh and have more life to it than it ever has.  (That is if it's part of the set list.)
