She peformed Unison on Star Acadmie 2 years ago.

And before that it was La dernière de Céline in 1999.

But these are facts.  Not hunches.  We probably won't get "Je ne vous oublie pas" and "Ce n’était qu'un rêve" as well.


I hope they explore different arrangements for the older hits.  We're in desperate need of new arrangements!

yeah we did   Also Paul Piccard might be back, instead of that blonde woman, of which I never knew her name!


We can speculate all we want about the setlist and I am 99.999% sure that we will get 99.999% of the same songs, but let's just pray the ones that are surprising, are really special!  


I am thrilled about The Reason! And I wouldn't mind A Song For You with a full orchestra and a good singing voice

Bring on some of her less known gems like Where is The Love, With This Tear, Water from The Moon... They would all sound amazing with an orchestra...

I suspect there might still be a few Hollywood songs but they don't want to market the show as Hollywood theme show...

well it's good that she doesn't settle in Florida and do nothing...
As for the old repertoir, I don't mind it as long as we really get interesting songs - not only lead singles...
But what surprises me is that they have no intention of recording new album now, I hope we'll hear sth about it around the premiere because of course they can do only old songs but I think it would be unwise not to release a new cd.... or maybe they'll be preparing sth for the Fall?

C'mon guys, Celine is not stupid; she always said that she chooses the songs for her shows very carefully. In this case, I'm sure she's picking the ones that will be impressive with such a big orchestra.

Some examples I can think of are Then you look at me, Goodbye's (The saddest word), Pour que tu m'aimes encore, My heart will go on (We've heard it with big orchestras at the Oscars, Grammys, Pavarotti & Friends and World Children's Day Concerts; now tell me, weren't they all impressive performances?)

I think this because the last time Celine performed Declaration of love was back in 1998, and she hasn't sung The reason since 1999, so these songs aren't so usual in her recent shows's setlists. They were chosen specifically because they'll sound amazing with that orchestra.

I mean, the orchestra's gonna have a tremendous influence on the setlist.

we know they are not stupid, but what i'm afraid of is the time limit.
i think because of that they will skip a lot of 'rare' songs, like Water from the moon, Then you look at me, Where is the love etc.
Instead of those they will choose the usual songs, and some other hits, but not the never performed songs live ;-)

i hope someday she will do 1 special show wich last 2,5 hours, and perform some songs she never sang before live, make it a beautiful show, make a dvd of it, and then go ahead with the same show setlist she used to do in vegas ;-)

If ''Then you look at me'' is not in the show, then they are the biggest bunch of muppets on the planet, for missing out on including this song in the show!

The whole song is backed by an orchestra, the lyrics are amazing, and she has an amazing scream/held note in it to... so it could be the ''I surrender'' of the new show, and like I said to Barnev and Annie it would be a great show opener, and I passed on that quite a few fans on the forum would love to hear this with the live Orchestra and because its never been performed before...

So it'll be interesting to see what happens.. but personally I'm not getting my hopes up after yesterdays update!

'Declaration of Love' and 'the Reason' will be sung for 100%? I don't think so.

Before the TC Tour began, at least 40 songs were rehearsed but only 20 were chosen.

What's more, can you remember they mentioned 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Je Lui Dirai'? but Celine did not perform them.

I've cooled down since yesterday, but I really hope that if this is the way they are gonna go with this that they would consider doing some of her older songs like ''Unison''. The medley they came up with for ''Star Academy'' last year was nice, so maybe they will consider doing some of those songs again. Maybe they can add a few songs like ''Beauty and the Beast'' and ''If You asked Me To''.

Yes I agree....it sounded better. But keep in mind these are just rehearsals.... Mary-Lou and Nannette could very well be back. Other members are also missing in the video, so it could very well be they're unavailable at the moment..

Im sorry but i never liked Mary-Lou, her voice is bland to me and was defiantly in my opinion the weakest backing singer. Elise is great and Barnev is also great.

Mary-Lou never really gave the friendly, approachable, fun vibe that the other band members do, and its not because shes new... maybe I'm wrong, and I like the girl who took over from Paul, she was friendly, smiley and gave off the same nice vibe as the other members, but hey maybe Mary-Lou is just shy....

And I do like her voice as she Barnev, and Elise took turns warming up at the London sound check, so I got to hear her sing on her own, and she was pretty good!

I also had the privilege, to watch in on a sound-check and thats when i noticed her voice. Its not terrible, but for me its not anything special. and i agree, she seems either shy or anti-social when on stage which is not a trait to have when being a backing singer. I loved the days when the moved and danced like they did on the FIY tour.

The song I posted is Goodnight My Angel (Lullabye) by Billy Joel. This is his most famous hit and it fits with Celine's situation

I thought the same. Nannette was really cool, but Mary-Lou scared me.

It would be funny if Rachelle Jeanty returned (as well as Paul) and was the new singer. Unfortunately I think this is someone new
