Fun topic! I could write a book on favorite Celine notes, but I'll list a few.  I'm only going to list English songs because it's too hard to look up French lyrics and emphasize specific lyrics in another language   It's easier to describe the line than list times and have everyone go look up the time and try to fast forward the song and listen to it.  Besides, any real fan is going to know exactly what parts of the song I'm talking about   

Love Doesn't Ask Why: "...DON'T cha KNOW, DON'T cha KNOW that LOOOOooOoooOOVe DOOOOOOESn't think twice..."

My Love: right after she pauses: "...and iII wiiIIIIIIIiiiIIiIIL stand tall..."

Love Letter to George Sand: I know it's weird, but the last few notes of the song when she goes ..."ooooh, ooooh, oooooh..." her voice slightly breaks and I just get chills hearing those notes.  

I Love You Goodbye: the end when she screams "baby it's NOOOOOOOOT gonna work out, I love you goodbYEEEE..."

I Don't Know: towards the end when she really starts screaming ..."I know what I waAAAAAAANT I KNOW what I NEEEEEEeed, but there just one thAAAANNNG, I mUUUUUST believe, deep in the nIIGHT by a DYYYYYYYYING FLAME, you will be theheeer when I call your name..."

I Love You: I just like her phrasing and the way she slightly emphasizes the first syllable of a few of the words  "...so toDAY I finally 'FIND' the COURage deep 'inSIDE' just to WAAAAlk right up to your doOoOor, but my 'BODy' can't move when I FINally get toooo 'ettt' just like a THOUsand times befoooooooHOOOORe..."

Call the Man: "...needed where the proud who walked the wire are set to fAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL ohoooooooowhoooooohooooooooOOOOooOoOoOo...."

Fly: the whole song is great, but the very last line before her adlibbing at the end "....but I won't forget..." the way her voice sort of breaks is so gorgeous.  

If We Could Start Over Again: the very end in the background she yells "...I KNOW, I KNOW, I KNOWOWOWOWOW..."

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face: towards the end when she belts like crazy "....I felt your heaAAAArt so CLOOOSE to MI-IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiIIIiiIIIIne..."

Live For the One I Love: end of the song when she sings  ...."I'll LOOOOOOooove until love wears me aWAAAAAAAAAAAY, I'll DIEEEEEeeee and I know my love with STAYYYYYYYY...."

Lets be honest people, we could all go on forever.  There isn't a song that Celine sings that doesn't have some bit of greatness to it (except Love By Another Name, that song is just hideous in every way shape and form.  David Foster, seriously what were you thinking?).  I'm gonna stop here because there's all the common and famous notes from famous songs that I love, but tons of French songs and tons of album cuts that have great lines and notes and phrasing.  I'd be here until her Vegas run is over naming them all!  Let's face it, Celine could burp and I'd probably enjoy the tune it made lol.

I'm now with her Divas Live 1998 performances, just watched the RDMH performance of the TCWT concert and wanted to remember it:

RDMH: her "ahhh-ahhh" in the break at 2:40    . Reminds me of the same sights at the opening of Cherche Encore. I've been crazy since I listened and watched this version during my first days of Céline-fan, and I'm still as crazy in love with it as the first day   

MHWGO: love how she sings this version, the first near far wherever you are at 1:05

So I wanted to remember how she sounded in this 1998 performance and yes, her voice has changed I know its a natural thing, but just going from her voice during the TC tour and compare the version with her voice in 1998 is really rough

Since this topic has resurfaced, here's mine. I may be the only one here, but i have a particular fascination with the background vocals in her songs.

IWYTNM - after she sings "i wanna be the face you see when you close your eyes..." Theres a backing vocal that goes "Baby, I"... Its obvious thats also her doing the background vocals. I just love the harmony of her voices in that phrase.

TLYM - the last chorus, after she goes "im the one who wants to love you mooooore".... Then the backing vocals overlaps with that: "oohh oooh ooohh" i particularly like that overlapping harmony it produced.

If We Could Start Over Again - right after the bridge, she starts the chorus and we hear baclground vocal (again her own voice) going: "If weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... We could start over again"

and towards the end she goes "i know if we try we never have to let gooooo.... MMMPAPAPA"

And finally in WDMHBN, i love how the backing vocal in "come and rescue me" blended with Celine's voice there.

See, its all about the background vocals for me hahaha...
