It will never happen, but I'd love to hear Celine sing, "This Used to Be My Playground", from "League of Their Own", and sung by her veryyy long distant relative, Madonna. The song is so beautiful, poignant and the title is perfect for Celine's return to "her" stage! Not sure Madonna would be too thrilled though...

Remember they say: "all the favorites that my fans like to hear me sing" and i'm afraid they think that those songs are what the general people like to hear
tpol, iacbtmn, bylm, tlym, mhwgo etc but i hope i'm wrong and we get lots of songs from her own.
and i hope that the hollywood tribute, will be like the thing she did with frank sinatra part of her AND show. And not be the theme of the whole show.

I voted for "That's The Way It Is". It's up-tempo enough to get everyone on their feet, and it is a well-known song. It would be better to kick off with a song fans know.

think about it actually TTWII would be good for opener because of the music, the opening is really fit just celine's sound mmmm and then thhe music starts, but seriously don't think they'll use it, it would be nice for a tour opener but probably not for vegas kind of show.

I'm thinking that as the show is supposed to be about Hollywood movies she should open with MHWGO as it is really one of the most famous theme songs ever and it will set the tone for the rest of the show. Plus also it would be interesting to see what she did as her closing number instead of MHWGO as she has closed with that song for the past 10yrs. Any ideas on what she would clsoe with if she did sing MHWGO first???
Actually I have heard it banded about that she may sing Over The Rainbow? Think I might just burst into tears if she did as it made my cry when Leona Lewis sang it on XFactor. I always watched TWOO when I visited my Nans house and it was and still is one of my all time fave movies. Would like to see Celine do that as an opening number. They could make it rain on stage and a huge rainbow could come from the LCD screen. WOW. Sorry getting carried away now!!!

I have a few ideas for the opening:
-I Drove All Night: New intro video showing Celine leaving house, getting into car, driving to Caeser's Palace. Then Celine drives the car onstage and starts the song!
-It's All Coming Back To Me Now: Long piano intro, with clips from Celine's career 1981 - 2011 on the screen. Maybe the full song...
-Declaration of Love: Just a great song, would sound amazing with the orchestra. If they had a complete blackout, then all the lights turn on when the band starts, it would be a great up-tempo opening!
