We booked through lidl Germany online. They offer great deals.
We have flight + hotel (MGM) for 2 weeks for about 1000 euro/person.
I think it's not bad.

Just booked our flights and hotel for next July. Got it for £980 per person, direct flight from Manchester to las vegas.  Didn't think that was bad especially for direct flight.  So excited now. Can't wait!

That's a good price.I went to Vegas this May for a week flying direct from Manchester with Thomas Cook airlines and I paid £795.We stayed at the Monte Carlo hotel.

Me and my mom payed about $1970 dollars for 9 nights at caesars back in March (we're going in december) and we payed about $2170 for flight both ways

From 9 till 11 june there's quite a big convention (IECS) with approximately 32.000 participants, from 13 to 15 june there's another big convention with (Infocomm) with another 32.000 participants and from 26 to 28 june 2012 there the Food Expo with 22.000 participants.  So if you don't book from 8 to 16 june there should be reasonalbe prices arround.  Oh and at the beginning of June (1-4 june) there's the JCK Las Vegas Show with another +30.000 participants.

Remember that you best don't book on dates when there's a big tradeshow (convention) taking place in Las Vegas.  Loads of people who are visiting Vegas for conventions will stay multiple days and occupie hotel rooms.  Since most visitors are professional the hotels will raise their prices regardless of they are empty or not, convention visitors have money to pay the expensive rooms and they don't care if a room costs 100 or 300 USD per night, most of the visitors will be refunded by their employer.

So the best thing you can do while visiting Vegas is avoiding large conventions or trade shows.

For example, you definately want to avoid conventions like CONEXPO which attracts about 120.000 people, CES with 150.000 people, The Magic show with 120.000 people, etc...

Thanks Bralo   Im would really like to stay at Mandalay Bay/ MGM or If on main strip the Bellagio or Venetian. Id like to be near Ceasers as that eill be my main focus of holiday   , but Mandaly Bay and MGM are calling me as they have really ccool pools and a lazy river. And i would need some lazy time !!!   So im just trying to get a good deal on any of these hotels!

Standard rates, exclusive taxes, best days in bold...  Between the brackets are the so called standard casino rates, those are offered when calling VIP/Marketing services (+1 877.623.7503), don't know if those rates are offered without a Players Club account (I think they will since they are the standard casino rates).

The moment you realy know the days you are going you should look also on third party sites like ebookers, hotels.com, etc...  They are most of the time cheaper then the hotels themself...

Edited to add: have just been looking at prices again, looks like ill be waiting even longer flights alone are half the price in nov/dec compared to jun/jul. I guess an extra half a years wait isn't the end of the world, given how long I've already waited.

but if u r going there in March is pretty cheap as i believe it's low season there in march! check expedia it's kinda cheap!!!
