If you get motion sickness, I would suggest you take 3 valoid (dramamine in the US) and sit by a window in the middle of the plane.
I'm talking from experience there

Another option is to get the seats by the emegency exit, so you can have lots of leg room.  They charge extra for those seats and you can usually only get them at check in or call ahead.
Don't sit within 5 rows of the toilets.
The front of the plane is the most unstable for motion sickness.

I sat a few times in the front and once at the wing. The advantage of sitting at the wing is that there is a bit more room, but you can't see much.
When I sat at the wing I got so sick I thought I was gonna die. The other times I was fine after the take off. I better make up my mind. I have to book these tickets this weekend.

I know I know, I'm online right now spending a vegas planning day- got to figure it all out!

Haha I got really motion sick flying over to London for our honeymoon but only because we didn't have clearance to land for half an hour so we spent that half an hour flying over Heathrow doing a FIGURE 8. OMG. You could  see the route the plane was taking on the map on the screens. We would bank one way then straighten out then immediately bank the opposite way                       

whew.


hahaha then we took an express traina nd then a taxi. Thought I'd never stand still that day. I had to take a nap to wear it off. Figure 8s= bad.

You are making me more nervous with the figure 8 talk. My problem is my ears. I usually get such a bad earache which later turns into a major headache, and then I just get sick. It is no fun at all. The last time I flew, me and my brother were on our own. He said he never saw me so sick than that day, so I am really scared. I think I gave him the scare of his life.

The cheapest I can find Caesars is $155/ night on Priceline.  We're staying 10 nights though...  Sun Mon Tues before the show at Caesars aren't so bad- it's the weekend rates and Wed after the show thru the weekend bc of spring break that sky rocket.

Our entire stay at IP is $170

I would LOVE to stay at Caesars, but even their smallest room, which is half the size of IP's smallest room, is 5 x more expensive.
We're saving that money to play golf at a good course.

I originally had planned to stay at Caesars, but the over $1000 bit got to me after a while, so I booked at the Monte Carlo.  It looks elegant enough and it's more upscale than the other one in its price range, but I hope to stay somewhere more upscale next time

Jane- how does the group thing work? We are arriving on the 11th and staying through the 21st.  Is the group price at IP only good on certain days or any/as many days as we stay as long as we are part of the group? Like for instance, can I only get the $45/$40 per night from the 13th to the 17th? or as early and as late as we stay?

Don't forget about promo codes!  Here is a list of some promo codes that are good during that date range - you can find some good deals!  Also, generally when you book through the hotels directly like this, you're able to cancel if a better deal comes along.

There's a world of difference between Caesars and the Imperial Palace. Hope you have some luck. It seems in Vegas, it's either one or the other when it comes to price location and quality. It's not so easy to find the middle ground that most of us are looking for.

I satisfied that problem by booking two different hotels this time.

I booked our room early enough  from Caesars Palace (we´re going to see Céline in April   ). Did compare the rates from different sites before booking and at the time it really was a good deal. Now I can see that the Insider Package could save me some valuable spending money...    Can anyone please tell me if it´s possible to get the same discount for my already made booking or should I cancel this one and try to make another one? How does their system work there...?

Tracey: Next week, I'm gonna ask everyone for flight and hotel info and then hook people up that will be staying at the same hotel or flying at the same time.

Did you book directly through Caesars Palace?  If so, you should be able to call them and give them information on the new promo (mention the Insider Package), and they should honor it for you.

im trying to figure out the plane ticket now, what time would the show get over cause i can take a 1145 pm flight out of vegas on sat the 26th, but would i have enough time after the show to get back to the hotel and to the airport to make flight?

We have a tentative booking at the Stratosphere 'cause we're there for 10 days, but we may just end up booking two different hotels. My mom is coming for the first week, so we might book a more central hotel for that time and then move to the Strat when the prices get very high thanks to Spring Break.
