What do you mean by "her music genre"?? I think she sings songs of many different genres but her recent big hits were rather rock-ish, see "My Life Would Suck Without You". If you consider this kind of songs as "her music genre" than I guess this genre is doing pretty well actually! There are more singers doing this kind of music (for example Katy Perry etc.) and they are also very popular, at least here in Europe, don't know about the States or Asia (Philippines...?) though... I know Japanese & Filipinos are quite known for loving smooth sounds, big diva-ish voicess like Regina Velasques or whatever the others' names are, I don't know too much about these singers but I have some mp3s, hehe! But surely that doesn't go for all Japanese or [/i]Filipino[/i] people,lol! Rock is very big in Japan as well (not only J-Rock) and I bet same goes for the Philippines, right?

Barbara, what I meant was that I missed Kelly and Alicia when they toured Germany (Koln und Oberhausen). I was there last year

Kelly in Cologne was amazing and Alicia in Oberhausen... argh!! I will never get over it that I missed that show... Hope she'll come here again with a show soon!!

I hope so, too! Kelly is one artist I really want to see on tour. She sings every song live and I truly respect and admire her for that

Didn't Kelly perform at the electric company house/club or something in Koln?

Yes, yes, yessss!!!
This album has been kinda postponed, there were voices about the release last Spring but than Kelly herself told that it despite of the fact that the album was ready by then, it won't be released until autumn due to some record label politics. Apparently they wanted to have the market "clear" for Kelly and release her new album where there are no other big releases planned so she will get well-noticed and hopefully well-appreciated!

Thank you for posting the tracklist! Can't wait to hear all these songs!
But where have you already heard the songs were happy (or sad) about making (or not making) it to the album???
Were they puhlished on some singles or EPs?
I'm especially curious about the song that hasn't made it to the album 'cos I won't be able to listen to it when I buy the album...

I don't know why they are releasing the album in October, there are plenty of other new albums that are coming out next month. Martina McBride's new album, "Eleven" is just one example. Demi Lovato's comes out on September 20th, Mary J. Blige's comes out October 4th, as well as Scotty McCreery's. Joe Jonas' and Lauren Alaina's come out on the October 11th. I just don't understand why they would release the album around the same time as all these other people. (I'm grouping together albums that would be CLOSEST to Kelly's genre, which is pop/rock, so I have included pop, country, and others).

But from the commercial point of view it's probably bad for Kelly that those tracks have already leaked...

About many albums being released in October (and November), well, it's all about money after all: think about Christmas and all the gifts' possibilities...

OMG!!!    i love love love love Haley!!! she's awesome ...strong personality too   . but its concerning that singers like these hav minimun potential to get a hit single or albm these days. hav u seen the billboards top 10 the last 2yrs    ? hmm... Adele's a stand out & got lucky. still sad that Allison Iraheta didnt click ...she was talented!!
whatever happened to Pia's albm... i like her but her first single was blehhhh & disappeared quickly. gosh!! where r the great song writers???!!
dont care about either Scotty & Lauren ...didnt even bother to watch Top 2 finale coz i knew they were going to be stronger drugs than sedatives

hopefully Kelly's albm will top the charts ...love her. ummm...    not hearing a lot about "Mr. Know it All" though

"Mr. Know It All" is the "Breakaway" and "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" is the "Since U Been Gone" from this album. Absolutely gonna smash the radios and sales.

Omg..... "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" has been stuck in my head ALL day! What a killer song... should've been the 1st single! It sounds familiar, but who cares... a lot of songs do these days Hope it'll be the 2nd single!

Crappy Germany, the album premiere was only TODAY here, argh!!!!
But yeah, better later than never, hehe!
I just received it from my postman a few minutes ago, will listen to it tonight!!!

And now even more awesome thing for me:

A few days ago I won tickets for an exclusive radio concert of Kelly in Stuttgart which will be held on November 3rd!!
It's a showcase event, organized by Sony and by a radio station and you can't buy tickets for this one anywhere - you conld only win them!!!!
They advertised it as "The smallest concert in the world", ok, that's a bit exagerrated as, finally there will be surely more than 300 people there but still it'll be something unique!!!

I'm sooooo excited, yaaaay!!!!

Saw Kelly sing her latest song on The Today Show. I f I heard it on the radio first I wouldn't have never known it was her, she sounded really different from her previous work! But she sounded great!

The private showcase concert on Thursday was awesome!!!!!
The only bad thing about it was that it was too short, haha, only 1 hour but it was a promo showcase and not a regular concert, ok? She sang 4 songs from the new album and several of her hits.

I was lucky to stand in the middle of the front row, soooo close, so awesome!!!!

I recorded a full show audio bootleg, will share it soon here or if you're interested, send me a PM.

When I transfer and check my photos, I may be posting a few good ones here. _

Kelly was actually a bit sick on that day but still sounded great and was energetic as always!!
