And and and and?
I'm quite surprised....it's rare for an album to grab me as a whole after a while...normally I end up listening to just a few tracks, but I still listen to every track of the album most of the times and love them more & more

And and... what do you think? It's been on repeat since then
This album is beautiful. I haven't come across recently any album which would be that coherent, yet diversified, classical (for The Corrs), yet modern. In my opinion, they haven't lost their 1990s sound at all. It feels like 1990s and yet it's not outdated at all. This is what Celine has missed in recent years. She strayed from her original roots too much to stay "cool" and it didn't work out for general public. The Corrs with this album proves that sticking to an original sound and style assures the very same GREAT quality of the product. If I HAD to say a "bad" thing about it, I'd only say that I miss Sharon's violin at times. And if I had to choose a song to cut, I'd only cut BOTN
I still think that Bring on the night wasn't a good choice for the first single, even White Light would work better. Somehow it's my least favourite on this album.
It's so hard to choose a favourite song on this particular album. Honestly there are so many songs that I love a lot but there are beautiful for different reasons. I think my favouriteS are Kiss of Life, Ellis Island, Harmony. Each is different and I can't choose one from these three, at least for the time being:P I like a lot Strange Romance and Gerry's Reel too. Aw, the whole album!
Kiss of Life - it's become my favourite during the first listening to the whole album (not counting Ellis Island since they had performed it earlier). Totally in love
Ellis Island - it's been my favourite since I saw them perform it. It's so compelling, it's like a story, you just wish that it wouldn't stop, it could go on and on and on.... Simply beautiful
Harmony - another BIG song for me. I love such "epic" songs
Strange Romance - it's SO the Corrs.
Gerry's Reel - traditional yet modernised, gorgeous!
I already regret that I'm not going to attend their concert!

How do you that they have started rehearsing? I really wonder what they are going to include in the setlist! I'm so sad that I'm not going....

I hope they will truly come back with this album. And that they will do more concerts in more countries.... Alas, I won't be able to Germany either even though it's much closer than the UK.

I didn't look at any spoilers before the show so it was really exciting not knowing which songs would be performed. I thought overall the setlist was very good. There were 6 new songs from White Light, and the acoustic section was fantastic. The opening was great too, with I Do What I Like leading straight into Give Me A Reason - one of my favourite songs that hasn't been performed live in ages!
However, I realised towards the end of the show that there was nothing from Borrowed Heaven in the show. I was also surprised they didn't perform Would You Be Happier, from their 'Best Of' album. I would have liked to hear Gerry's Reel too, maybe as the final instrumental encore instead of the predictable Toss The Feathers?
Overall it was a great night. I would definitely see them again!
Songs by album:
- Forgiven, Not Forgotten: 3 (5 including instrumentals)
- Talk On Corners: 6
- In Blue: 3
- Best Of: 0
- Borrowed Heaven: 0
- Home: 1
- White Light: 6

I also thought that Gerry's Reel would be performed as it's the only instrumental on the new album but I guess they prefered the old ones more.... But I really like this new one because of its modern touch. In my opinion Harmony would be an epic final song.
I've seen a few songs on youtube and was rather disappointed with Kiss Of Life, which is my favourite song on the album, as Andrea struggles a lot with it even though it's not that demanding...
I wonder how big this tour gonna be. The promotion is really slow and... small. In Poland, I haven't heard nor seen anything concerning the new album - except for the few copies of the album itself in MediaMarkt...
Have you seen that they chose I Do What I Like as the second single? It's fine but I think they could have picked something else.

I am quite positively surprised that ‘Give Me A Reason’ and ‘Ellis Island’ are in the setlist, and that the show opening song is ‘I Do What I Like’. They should have added ‘Summer Sunshine’ and ‘Unconditional’ to the setlist to have more uptempo songs. At a few points, the show seems to be to balladish/slow/calm…

Quote
“The most freeing experience we’ve ever had in the studio” is how Caroline describes the making of Jupiter Calling at London’s RAK studios. T-Bone had the band play live with minimal overdubs accompanied by bassist Robbie Malone (David Gray) and long-time guitarist Anthony Drennan (Chris Rea, Genesis, Clannad) and insisted that the studio source 40 spools of rare two-inch tape and a 1966 Ludwig drum kit.
Speaking about the recording lead singer Andrea Corr said, "One of the biggest moments for me was when we first played T-Bone Son of Solomon.
"He said ‘Okay, don’t play that any more’. When you’re on the verge of knowing something you’re much better than when you know it too well. And he was right. That’s when the magic happens."
The results are staggering and will delight their fans while earning admiration from a whole new audience.
“I love The Corrs' deep, generous spirit,” says T-Bone. “I love their writing and their singing and their playing. I love the people of Ireland – their music, their literature, their art- and The Corrs are the most soulful exemplars of that mystical land.”
At the heart of Jupiter Calling, their seventh album, is ‘SOS’- Song of Syria- the most politically outspoken and evocative song The Corrs have ever recorded.
To celebrate the band are returning to The Royal Albert Hall 19th October for what promises to be a very special night.
Tickets for the show will be on general sale Friday 15th September from 9am.
