lol!  after reading all the posts I feel like there's just so much hype,  I hope it lives up to all of our expectations (which is a hard task considering all our differing favorites of Celine songs.)  All the debate over ballad, uptempo, power ballad, lyrical content... I just hope its a good song, regardless of the type; I just want a quality track. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

RNTTRO is one of celine's exotic songs. (btw i've never heard her sing a folk song before, so it's one of TC's absolute wower)

i don't want TCAT to be another uptempo song. i want it to be a powerhouse ballad. simply because that's what she can do BEST. :in_love:

LVCeline said it (i.e. the mix that he heard during the preview) was "low tempo" and "mellow".

And Celine takes it a notch higher in the chorus of YL. :P  :P

I totally agree with you.
I wish that they would just release new songs with no warning so we don`t have time to build hype etc :D

I do not have any kind of expectations about this song... I mean according to Sony`s viewpoint they always try to take the worst decision... And after all in this album were left out a lot of great songs during since 2000 to here, while were re placed songs inculded in ANOTHER hits album like is "All the way" ...

I find stupid to promote a version of song and include in the album another different version. I find stupid to promote with a live video previously used.
I find stupid to promote the album with an already recorded song instead of a new one.
I find stupid to include only one new song when thay have serveral others saved, even when they know Celine will probably leave Sony after this album
I find stupid the promoting kind of music video they are releasing...

And after all.... Remember Celine love some songs like "Have you ever been".. That are absolutely not the best ones.... I will be glad enough if the song is not about René Charles...
I need someone to loves m like Celine loved René... And just like she sang in LTAL track # 16, I ask for that exact same thing

If this song is "Let me be your soldier" renamed, then we already know it as some of you who attended to the TC listening party previously said that the song was a bit weird and definetely not your favorite one...
I need someone to loves m like Celine loved René... And just like she sang in LTAL track # 16, I ask for that exact same thing

The same person said that "Alone" wasn't that good. Like I said. It's a matter of taste. And at that time Rene made very clear that the songs WASN'T finished yet. Maybe they have changed something in LMBYS now.

I give it a week into October before we get it... Maybe next week.  Test pressings of the album have to be sent out soon, so we'll get it then.  Certainly, waay before TC gives us a chance to stream it... :sick:
