so based on that video, the original title of this song is actually "There Comes a Time" and not "Let Me Be Your Soldier"? this is confusing me. is it possible that TCAT is the original title, and they changed them to "Let Me Be Your Soldier" before the album's (Taking Chances) final mixing, and when the song didn't make it to the final tracklisting, they went back and stick to its original title which is TCAT which we already have in MLEC?

Sad to confess that I just discovered this incredible song. I already had my copy of "My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection", but it was last week when I finally listened it from beginning to the end.

For the song, I knew there was a song called 'Let Me Be Your Soldier' which was recorded during "Taking Chances" sessions, but never knew how it was like. When I learnt it was used for the compilation album with a different title, I was happy that I would finally hear it.

But still, I am sad that I didn't pay enough attention to it when I first purchased it. It was good enough to be included on "Taking Chances". And on the compilation album, it should have been released as a single. I love it!

I completely agree with what you said about the song being good enough for Taking Chances.  I would have much rather had "Let Me Be Your Soldier" on that album instead of "New Dawn," "A Song For You," or "Skies Of L.A."  I also agree the song should have been sent to radio immediately after "My Love" started slipping from the charts.  It could have been the song to save the compilation album.  I also wish Céline had performed this song during the Taking Chances World Tour.  Maybe it'll find its way into her upcoming Las Vegas show.  (If that thing ever gets freakin' "officially" confirmed!)

Really nice song, should have been on TC instead of A Song for You(which is more worthy of Miracle than TC).

I agree!  I LOVE those two songs also - especially when I am in the right sort of mood for Skies of LA - it reminds me of having a nice walk, with nothing to worry about ^_^

LMBYS is actually not a favorite of mine... I liked it at first but now... eh.. not so much.  I like the other song that was released on TC albums outside of the US - The Reason I Go On.  THAT is a great song!

I'm sorry but that is one of the few Celine songs that I cannot stand at all. ''New Dawn'' and ''A Song for You'' are also my favourites. They fit the album perfectly.

I have to agree with hellmeister that they should have included ''The Reason I Go On'' on the album.
