I thought last year was exceptional with the TC album and the AND dvd...., but now I know I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year..

No, "To love you more" was recorded in 1994 but was released in 1996.

That is incorrect.  It was released in Japan on 23.10.95

It was prepared for a 'promotional single' in Canada in 1996.
Showed up on "The Colour of My Love" Japanese re-release.

i don't get it.. too many rumours it was exclusive a week ago and now there is a rumour about other reedition with new songs.... it's so strange once you said sony isn't planning any other release than live and in a week everything has changed... it's so complicated and Celine should really release a single from TC and leave sony at last...

Release schedule can change in a blink of an eye. This live CD/DVD is planned since early 2008 when the tour started. But then the idea of the GH album came to light so I won't be surprised if those two are relesed only next Spring. Xmas market is better for a GH album, it can sell more than a live album which is bought mostly by the fans only. And fans will also buy it next year. Especially if the tour will be prolonged with new cities. Sony is not dumb as most of you think.
I think the only chance to release a tour DVD this year if they forget about the live CD and release the live material only as a DVD like they did last year with TC and ANDLILV DVD. They won't release two CDs in one quarter (except if it's only a bonus disc in the live DVD package which I doubt that will happen).

well they *may* decide to go with a GH and the TC LIVE DVD rather than a CD.

They could promote both at the same time and its makes sense to have something on the DVD market and the CD market at the same time because at Christmas people buy from different markets and DVD's sell very well at that time of year. so would a GH.

If I were them I would include a live CD along with the DVD.

Ok, theres way to many topics right now of people saying they heard directly from Sony that this is going to be released or that is going to be released yaddy ya ya. Its getting a little hard to believe them all. Now we have three supposive releases from sony in the fall? This information for any of these albums isn't posted anywhere official is it?

Sony Germany confirmed it is a cd/dvd(it the first confirmation from sony) as we announced almost 2 months ago, but it will be postponed, but this was predictable

There won't be a 2 DVD set, with one in English and the other in French, but instead of that a DVD with God knows which songs and a CD with, God have mercy, 10 songs, just like "Au coeur du stade"....and I'm going to have to wait until May 2009 to live the experience of the world tour (since Celine didn't bother to come to latinAmerica)....that off course IF it gets released here at all

The should have dumped the idea of the My Love: Essential Collection and given us the Live CD with new tracks.  Would have been a much better idea.

but i thought the dvd would have like 2 disc 1 the concert 1 is the extra stuff..... and i guess there would be like 2 versions one english one french....

I don't get it! why do they announce stuff so early, when the show is still running! just be frank and also normal thinking and release the cd/dvd when the tour is over

Maybe since we got shafted on the new "Essential" CD, they will add the 2 missing tracks to the live CD like they did for the Vegas album.

Actually I agree with you on that fully pally!

This new GH is only upsetting, however to have the prerecorded live version of TPOL on yet another album is too....

I think having theam announcing the album this early when the tour is still on is kinda wierd. I thought they were going to have One in English and one in French who nows.

I thought also, maybe they release 2 cd's and 2 dvd's Or they make a cd/dvd combo the whole concert on the dvd and then like 10 songs on cd.

I dont reckon they will have 2 concerts anyway on the one DVD becuase there would be so many repeated tracks. Unless.................they did the Quebec 400 Special as one of the shows and that really would be ace!.

I reckon there will be a CD/DVD with the French tracklist variation in French territories and the English one for the rest of the world.

I think this tour started fantastically, it changed from each territory, outfits and songs but I reckon the tour was too big and after Europe lost interest in any changes. Its baffles me why beauty and the Beat isnt in the list (considering she got an Oscar for it) and why songs like TTWII and ANDHC are not in the North American shows. I really expecetd more changes along the way.
