Ok, it's a fine title. A bit worried about the "Greatest Hits.."-part, I mean seriously as been mentioned she hasn't have many since her come back. The proper way to name it would be "My Love - Best Of..."

I still think the hype about My Love is blown way out of proportions. It got almost hysterically much wind under its wings when fans saw the recording sessions. The song is nice, ok, faaar from masterpiece, and steals much space which could have been given to showcase the rest of this beautiful album.

The tour version is on a totally different level, much more profound and a lot more exciting dramaturgy, glad to see it being used now as this future reedition of the song.  

The only thing that saddens me about this album is that it will be the official funeral for Taking Chances, there's no going back to showcase neglected wodners on this album.   And it's also sad that we can tell for sure that this new GH will get much more promo and attention than the TC-album, mainly since it's been promoted in its absence ever since TC was released.  

Keep us updated. Darren.  

(and tell them I would had preffered "I Got The Music In Me - Two decades of song" as the title  )

To be honest I'm not really sold on the title.  It seems like an easy out and unimaginative.  I also don't like how it's hyphenated.  Why not just call it, My Love, and leave it at that?  That way the title could be interpreted two ways: "Love" being her passion for music and singing or meaning her significant other.  Also, if there "must" be a subtitle then make it be something like, A Collection Of Hits & Fan Favorites.

That's my two cents.

I know a lot of people are complaining that it's yet another greatest hits, but if anything, we should be happy we are getting an album out so soon after her last. I mean, there aren't really any other options considering Celine is touring and planning on taking a break after. Sony wanted to give us another CD so they used the sources they already had. Let's face it, most of us will buy it, and it will end up being another chart topper. Anyway, it's not uncommon to throw out a GH or re-release while an artist is on tour because it ups the sales.  I think it'll be great. Great job Sony UK and Darren

well the only thing i complain is that it's too soon... otherwise is good.....
well there is options.. get some video shoot for new singles..... and promote it ... i know celine's on tour but it will only take like 1 or 2 days for it.
and maybe re-release TC album with dvd it would be really cool!! oh well.....

I wouldn't expect a brand new video for the single that promotes this album to be honest, she just hasn't got time, but hey you never know.....

Its more than likely that the re-recording of ''My Love'' will be the single released to promote this album, and they will use tour footage of her performing the song, (the final dvd footage of the song possibly...) I think!

For me, the best thing to do, would be:

A new edition of the album "taking chances" with some new songs,  4 news songs and a new single, the title could be "TAKING CHANCES - SPECIAL EDITION"

In December 2009 the DVD - TAKING CHANCES WORLD TOUR

And in 2010 the BEST OF with 2 more new songs and one this as a single.

Yeah I believe he said earlier in the thread that the album will feature a track that didn't make the "Taking Chances" album

in some way i like the title... but i think it also means that we must not expect something more from Taking Chances...

and we get her next single: My Love... and now they hope they can promote both cd's...
they better release a up tempo song from TC and ML for the GH...

how much i love this song, i like the tour version very much as long as i dont see her perform it... lol...
the first times she performed it it was like real... and now it's like the 'wanna try that chair,oh darling i love you baby" s***... dont know how she does it having those teary eyes night after night...

Its a huge waste I know, as 3 songs in particular had a huge chance of being huge hits, ''fa'' and ''sol'' to name two....
Its frustrating and sad, but unfortuntley, thats the way it is...and theres nothing we can do..... but look forward to this album, and as a few others have said, as its a ''greatest hits'' album, it has a great chance of being no.1 in quite a few countries!!!
