i really hope charice become the next superstar.. she's got a powerful voice, she's a breath of fresh air. right now, dancing and lip synching seems to be the tools for selling millions of records.. Now that there is Charice, i hope that with her true vocal talent she can be a superstar.. I'D RATHER HAVE CHARICE ON THE TOP OF THE MUSIC WORLD THAN HANNAH MONTANA, AND ALL THE OTHER SEX SELLING BIATCHES..

I can't believe there is so much hate and jealousy against Charice.  

Charice is so lucky to sing with Celine. She is so proud and impressed with her. Celine is a true super star with a heart of gold!

Personally, I think Charice is a great, genuine and humble person. She is already, I believe, an amazing singer for her age. Whether she will make it big or not in the future, what matters is that she was able to gain recognition and share her God given talent to the rest of the world. She is still young, she will grow and learn her own style in time.  If she wasn't gifted or talented enough Oprah, David and Celine would not have invited her onto their shows/concerts. I'm sure they see something special in her. I'm sure they're not the type of people who would waste time and money on something that isn't going to work out in the long run. I'll be supporting Charice. I hope she will go far.

i just learned about this girl charice next schedules, all i can say is Oprah, thank you for taking a chance on Charice you are really opening the doors for this young talented girl.

I understand, you don't have to like her, everyone has different taste in music, BUT from what i've read in this thread some people just GO TOO FAR,  saying her voice sounds like a man,, saying she only used Celine to get exposure, THAT IS JUST SO SAD.. Talking trash about a little girl who been through alot at a young age.. YOU know there are alot of people in the music bussiness who  are not as humble as this little girl, when was the last time you've heard of hannah montana, jesicca simpson, ashley simpson  and many more, WHO BECAME SO SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE OF THEIR PARENTS HELPING THEM TO REACH THE TOP? It was my first time here yesterday joining this forum and I have been reading this thread and the other threads. You, in particular and some other, spreading so much hate and bitterness against the little girl. Maybe, you are one of those people who bashes Charice so much on Youtube and those countrymen of hers are her big supporters. I mean, let's take it this way, I'm sure if people were saying bad and hurtful things against our Celine, we would react and defend her, right? No one likes to get bashed and belittled. But, it is so bad how people can be so critical and judgmental about this girl. You don't know her. Celine didn't see anything to think bad and to judge her. I'm sure if you have watched Oprah and watched carefully, you would see how Celine embraces her and loves her like her own daughter. Celine is a great person and a role model to the rest of us, but I don't know why you and the others can't be like that.  Oh yeah, I guess we're all different and have different perspective in life. Just remember, the bad things people do or say against others it will backfire to them, I do believe in karma. so GROW UP PEOPLE! Peace!

The negativity in this thread is just silly.

To apply all those negative adjectives to Charice makes it seem that some of the most respected people in the entertainment industry are idiots for supporting her.

The Filipino people are very proud of their singers. They may be overboard many times, but they have deep passion and love for entertainment and music. I have so many Filipino friends who sing. Although there are many diehard Regine Velasquez fans on YouTube who go around praising their diva - one thing I know for sure: Regine Velasquez CAN sing, and truly is a vocal powerhouse.

Charice Pempengco - regardless of her background, her culture, and whatever defines her - is very fortunate and is blessed to be surrounded and uplifted by some of the greatest people of entertainment on planet Earth. To be loved and supported in that unique circle of people is nothing short of extraordinary.

And I'm just so happy to see a person who does not look, sound, and act like the spoiled brats and "conventional" people of today's mainstream entertainment.

Also, bear in mind that she is only 16 years old, and that she has time to build that voice, to push that talent to the max, and to have a global audience to perform to.

Like I said before, there's nothing you can do about it. If you don't like this kind of threads being put up then the members of this forum should have been advised that they weren't supposed to talk about anything else other than Celine or forbid making up threads about Charice and other celebs you despise. People are talking about her because she performed with Celine in the concert and people are just admiring her, not just her fans. About the Youtube you are pointing out, there is nothing you can do about it as well. It is not only Charice's fans that goes on Celine or Whitney's videos and telling how great she is. Many other people would view others videos and write comments how great their idol(s) is. I'm sure you've done the same thing about writing how great Celine is (she is really great).

From what i know and have learned, you cannot avoid rude comments from anyone in youtube, wether is a christina fan, Celine's Fan, Mariah, or whitney's fans. you';ll have rude people out there in youtube, it's worldwide, that means all the freaks and witches will be out there posting nasty, and disrespectful comments.. It can be annoying but, lo and behold, FREE SPEECH! Youtube is a place for discovery, communication and expression - a reflection of globalization and democracy.

Even if I dislike some Celine fans because of the way they are, the words they say, the negative attitude that they possess, and their annoyance - it doesn't affect my opinion of Celine or anything else in this world (except maybe "them," of course.)
