Just continuing on from the other thread, I think it is no surprise people want thousands of dollars for it. Price, ultimately, is a pretty subjective and negotiated thing, but a look around eBay shows that collectors items go for a lot more than that.

I recently watched a video on a rare Nintendo DS video game from 2010 that went for 3-4 thousand dollars. If that is the case I can totally see how this would be 10k - 20k.

Or if we imagine what Celine's hourly rate is to do an hour show. It's probably multiples higher than the hours of work that went into producing these recordings. She earned around 500k a show in her 2011 Vegas run. That was about $22,000 a song. The cost of these tapes is around that.

Yes, this was her first performance of BYLM live ever. Just 3 days after the single was officially released, so she still needed to read the lyrics because the song was so new!

I just watched the recent Tina Turner documentary. I was wondering after, did she ever comment on Celine’s version of RDMH in FIY?

I saw that documentary too! What did you think? One question I'd ask Celine in an interview is whether she's ever met Tina Turner. One of the few major stars I haven't seen her pictured with or heard of her being at the same event.

It was very well made, really enjoyed it. I was never into her music, but now I regret never seeing her live. In some way her giving-it-all attitude on stage and her genuine and down-to-earth character reminds me a bit of Celine.

But yeah, interesting they never met. I’ll be in Zürich in a few weeks, I’ll swim by her place and ask her myself ;-)

I want to see that documentary too! I like Tina a lot and seeing her live in 2009 is an experience I will never forget!

I always liked her music, but after seeing the documentary I really got into it. She has some classic songs with unique styles. Can people really swim in that lake or river there??

I thought they could have delved a little more into things in the documentary, but it was still great!

I just watched this documentary last night! As expected, it was pretty painful to watch such an ego trip.

The best part was a very simple (never-before seen?) pseudo-video of The Prayer from 1998. Céline had her shoulder length curly hair from the LTAL tour and wore a black dress with a draped neckline. Not sure what it was from, but it definitely wasn’t live - you could tell she and Andrea filmed their separate parts in a studio.

There was a very funny little moment on a radio show where they were ripping into David for having such huge ego trips. I thought I shared the link on this forum before but I couldn't find it, but it was in respones to his documentary I'm pretty sure.

To me that looks like a shot of Celine Dion doing a charity/benefit conert (or some other special event) and they had Andrea "sing" his part via video transmission. Like how she did Tell Him with Barbra on the LTAL tour. Andrea looks like a rabbi lol. Very interesting!

So, the Phil Spector sessions were leaked on YouTube. I just managed to hear them, then they got deleted like one hour later! I managed to get the videos.
Personally, I was totally not impressed with the songs, but that 90's voice was fire!
