I'm wondering how she talked to the crowd. Did she say: "Hey Jersey!" instead of "New Jersey." That would be pretty funny to hear her say "Jersey."

Awesome concert!!  I was able to sneak in my video camera.  ..well actually the guy with the metal detector found it, but since I was late he let me take it in, just said not to use it.      But I couldnt resist.

About 90% of the reviews of last night's concert at the Prud Center in Newark, NJ concur that the crowd SUCKED!!!

We love Celine and her wacky antics, it's the crowd's lack of enthusiasm that that was disappointing.

We have seen her concerts in Europe and Montreal and the crowds were phenonomenal.  She deserves much better than how the crowd collectively responded last night.

She did not receive any standing ovation after any songs.  She did not even pause or have to repeat "My Love".

I believe she did say Jersey instead of New Jersey in the beginning. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You can't really compare the Montreal crowds to anywhere else, it's an automatic great crowd.  At the DC show the crowd was very good but even tho a lot of people in the front rows stood after many songs many did not and no one interrupted her at the beginning of My Love.  I think they will in NYC but I bet at many shows she can sing it str8 through and the audience will just enjoy hearing her sing without music.

No idea which hotel!Waldorf? Has anyone noticed, she's been staying pretty low key around this area. I haven't heard anything about her being spotted on her days off shopping. That is VERY odd for her.   lol

Uh oh I hope any NJ/NY people will not get mad at me but that area is one of the toughest crowds and can be a little bit jaded because they've seen everything. So I'm not surprised that it may have been a boring crowd last night. Now I would think MSG might be a lot better. The positive side is NY crowds can be great.

But I still think something should be said about my "non weekend concert days" theory in which I believe that crowds may not be as exciting on work/school nights.

I thought the DC show may have suffered from this the other night because 1. It was on a Monday and 2. D.C. is a REALLY jaded city. But I was HAPPILY proven wrong since it was a GREAT crowd and show.

I thought she had fudged the words during the beginning of ABM when she was ad-libbing "myself...myself..." the guy next to me started to chuckle along with some remarks. He seemed bored during most of the show but later he was like "that was good!" and applaued after the performance of The Prayer. I thought it must have been impressive for him to say a comment like that out loud.

Hey some have said at some shows she ENTERS through the audience. Was that true at this show?

I didn't see her entering the audience this time. The intro music started at 8:57PM I was not surprised she started late ahead of time.

Well I was REAL surprised at the DC show when Gordie Brown finished his act at around 8:30 I thought "Oh now we have to wait at least thirty minutes" but she actually came on at around 8:45! One cool thing was the audience started clapping early and wanted her to come out immediately.

Yes, she enters through one the side entrances.  She enters in when it is dark and walks down one of the aisles.  She also leaves the same way.  Last night she walked by Sect A.  

No special "secret box" like the LTAL tour.  

I think this gives Celine and her fans more opportunity for interaction.

I could ellaborate about actual fan interaction (i.e. w/Ramona), but I will defer that to her if she so desires to share those special moments when she entered and exited the crowd.    

It was so funny though that Celine herself was literally dragged away from Ramona by her bodyguards, instead of the other way around.

I also have a theory about where she exits each night which may be helpful in seat selection.

I could be wrong (it happens   ) but I've noticed that if you look at any of the venue maps that show the seats from above (like on Ticketmaster) she always seems to exit in the top left area.

So to me it would be great to have floor seats on the aisle where she walks or at the bottom of the stands section on the other side of the aisle.

Can anyone tell me where the the area was where they were selling the tourbooks?  Were they right when you walk in?  And were there big quantities of the merchandise?

They sell them in a lot of places at the show. They usually have a few stands that only sell the programs but then they also sell them at the stands with the T-Shirts and other stuff. Plus they have people walking around inside the arena selling them so you can get them while sitting in your seat.

Well (segwaying to the Philly show,) She actually took photos and signed things as she exited for the Philly show. That was early towards where she was leaving the stage, and got more in a rush as she reached the end. For both entrance and exit she came right through the audience.. parfait.
