I love overblown and oversinging if it's Celine! That's her trademark voice- what everyone thinks of when they talk about her- not croaky horrendous jazz-style vocals- ROLL ON THE 'I SURRENDERS' OF THE FUTURE! Canadian superstar CELINE DION has teamed up with legendary producer QUINCY JONES to record a tribute to Italian composer ENNIO MORRICONE. Dion, who has spent the past few years performing in Las Vegas, Nevada's Colosseum, spent the day in nearby Vegas studio Palms on Tuesday (26SEP06), recording a track for a tribute album for Morricone, who created the score to THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY and YENTL. The singer's husband/manager RENE ANGELIL enthuses, "It's the principal reason why we accepted, to work with Quincy." Dion is planning to release her first album in four years in 2007 - the same year her Vegas contract comes to an end.

why would they mention a new french album?!? on the other hand we know that there is going to be a new french album in 2007 . so is the english album and the french one will be released in 2007??
we need to ask celinedion.com  - i mean r they talking about the new french or the new english album?!?!?

yeahh , i think many people wrote them about it by now
something is going on and celinedion.com will have to comment cause it's spreading all over...now we have contact music and i'm sure it's not the end .

I sent a message to CD.com also so hopefully we will all get some kind of an official response soon.

Maybe we are finding out information early because they are trying to create a lot of hype and excite with fans and in the press about Celine's first album in 4 years.

I think the Morricone tribute album will be amazing. I mean his music is already so beautiful, they can't do anything wrong with that. I also think Celine knows already how to sing such songs, listen to If I Ruled The World. She doesn't scream around like in I Surrender, but sings the song. Like in the good old days. It's all coming back to her now ...
