I want to give Celine my Celineish board game and a letter when I go to Vegas- do you think they'll take it? Have any of you tried? Did you get a response?

I'm sure many of the members got this chance. You can try with some of her musicians or Rene, or someone from her Vegas team you'll meet there.. even one of the security guards.. i think they'll give her what you give. Try!

On the day of the premier, Rene' came by and I handed him a poem I wrote back in 2008. I had sent this poem to everyone I could get a address for with no luck. I gave the poem to Rene' on March 15, 2011 and have not received any reply from anyone.

I wrote another letter concerning Patrick, still no reply. In this lettet though, I told them that there are enough assistants that could send a short note that there was no reason to not acknowledge a fan when they have given her gifts. There was some of us fans from the forum that got together and chipped in to have another fan make two baby quilts. No reply from Celine or company. I told them a sticky note would be better than getting nothing.

I wait with baded breath.  Good luck all. Let us know if you get any kind of reply.

I'd love to mail a letter/poem to her but I don't think she'd get it, she must get so many now. But more than that, i'd be so embarrassed. What kind of obsessed freak/dork/weirdo/looser would she think I was? For some reason, I always think that if she read something of mine, met me, heard me sing, etc. anything, se'd scream, turn, dart and run away in the opposite direction. That's more my mother's style than Celine of so much class, so I think I'm confusing the two or got a little transference going on here. But I'd be so embarassed that she'd think there was something wrong with me or something. But boy if I thought there was the slightest chance she could read something from me and know just an inkling of who I am...OMG!

When I was 8 years old (I am almost 23 now) I wrote a letter to the address that was inside the Falling into You album booklet.  I never received a reply back.  I was crushed.     But you know she receives so many things and she is busy with her career and personal life it is ok.  I just hope it didn't just end up in the trash lol

I can't even imagine how upset and sad you guys must be when you find yourself without a response but when so many people want something from the same person it's hard to make it work out so that everyone's happy.

Keep trying! I never thought I would get a response but I did! It may take writing over and over again or thinking of something creative to change it up and waiting for a long time but it's all worth it when you hold her note in your hands! I don't think Celine would ever judge or think badly about anything a fan sends her. She is our Celine. She is not like all the rest. If you even take the time and make the effort to write she is grateful and moved, I'm sure. Go for it!

My saddest moment was March 16, 2011 when some friends from Germany tried to get me to see Celine. They spoke to Rene' and he said he didn't see a problem with it, so he gave the girls Patricks cell phone number. The girls talked to Patrick about it and he said sure how many will be going in, the girls mentioned 3 (me and them); Patrick told them to be at the Colosseum doors for 5:30 and he would come out at 6:00 and get us and take us to Celine. At exactly 6:00, Patrick came out and my heart was trying to beat out of my chest. Patrick goes over and tells them that we were not going in. The girls were so upset because we had spent the previous 2 days talking about Celine and I was expressing how much I adore and admire her. I am disabled with heart, back problems; the back being I had 152 fractures in it. Diabetes so bad I was losing the use of my legs and feet; plus had 53 operations. I saved soda and water bottles to fund my trip to get there. When Patrick told me no, I sobbed and told him what it took for me to get there and he said "Well how many did you have to save?" Wrong thing to say. Here I am sitting on my scooter sobbing making a fool of myself in front of all the people going in to the show. I told him why did he wait until the last minute to tell me because I had been sitting outside the doors for quite awhile. If I had been told earlier I could have gone         somewhere and cry in private. I'm not sure if Celine heard it and it scared her. I told Patrick that this was the only time I was able to get there and he said no you will be back again. I live on social security and KNOW THAT THIS TRIP IS IT IN MY LIFE TIME. I still cry over the whole incident.

Why didn't they let you meet Céline?!   What was the problem?

Yeah I wondering the same thing.  Who is Patrick by the way?  Why would he say you could go and then say no?  I hope it was not Celine who refused to see you all.  I don't think she would do that.

No, Celine had no idea. Patrick is Rene's son. It was such a terrible situation. It never never should have happened! Can you imagine how you would feel if that were you? It breaks my heart.  I believe they said they didn't have time after all that day for any Meet N Greets but instead of saying, yes be ready, we can do it, they should have said "we will see if it can happen." Celine would be horrified if she knew that happened. It's completelyyyyy unacceptable. I'm not blaming Patrick at all, it seems he may have just been the last to find out and the bearer of the news but it was not acceptable to have that happen to a fan! I think Patrick gets frustrated because Rene says Yes to everything without knowing the schedule

Thank you Lindsey. If he had said a reason, it still would be as hard but more understandable. If I had known just a little earlier before there was so many people I could have gone in private to cry.


Rene' sent the girls to Patrick because that is part of his job to decide whether Celine has time ot not. The worst part was when he came out at 6pm he said he never told us that we would see Celine. Double talker

Like the others, I don't get why you couldn't meet her. It just doesn't seem like Céline's crew to do such a thing on purpose.

We had been told that there was 200 tickets given out for the sound check but just that group got them and none were offered to the rest of the forum members that were there. i cant remember the exact date, i believe it was friday march 25th, and i was waiting outside the colosseum doors and rene n patrick walked out and i got patricks attention quick enough to ask if i could meet celine n that it would be a dream come true,etc etc and he held up a finger like hold on a minute and he n rene walked off and like 10-15 mins later patrick comes walking back to the colosseum with these 2 girls in short dresses and he started to walk past me and im thinking to myself i thought he was gonna help me meet her so i said hey patrick can u help me meet celine and he looked at me n said hi n waved if my memory serves me correctly, in my gut i coulda swore he meant that when he came back he would take me in to meet her,the pain n dissappointment i felt cant be put into words,thank god celine n her voice took that away and i felt better when she came on stage. i know her safety is number one for her sake and of course because of her 3 little boys oh i mean 4 little boys but celines diehard fans would never hurt her so whys it so hard to meet the woman who touches our hearts deeply everyday ,shes truly my guiding light,i d like a minute or two to thank her for everything shes dones for my life n get a picture with her.

Oh God, Cynthia, I am so so so so so so sorry. Oh my gosh I cannot believe/imagine that this happened to you. You poor thing. I am disabled, (blind), and am on Social Security too. I KNOW what you mean when you say a trip like this is never in my lifetime. I saw her once in sacramento, Ca but know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will not make it to Vegas unless someone in my family or someone helps me...and if you knew my family, uou'd know how impossible/unlikely that is.
What must be most upsetting is how close you were, and that for a few days, you were able to build up this idea/expectation of what you would say, what you might want to hear from her, what it would be like...only to have that dashed against a stone. I would love to meet her, but what nice friends you have that they tried. I am so sorry this happened, what idiots to do this to you.
If there is one thing I can ask, please, do not allow this to take/steal your love of Celine. this was not her, it was the people around her. It is not in her at all to be like this, i too think she'd have been horrified completely if she knew this happened. You Deserve to get to meet her, she is especially influencial to people who have lifelong disablities and hardships, not that we all don't but you all know what I mean before you start going there on me.

Thank you SFbaysinger, for the love and support you are offering me. No one will ever take my love of Celine away from me. I was able to hand Rene' a four page poem (?) I wrote about their life starting when she was very small to the present. God truly had me write it for there were things in the poem that didn't happen until after I wrote it. I had sent it by mail four times be fore but I never was notified if they had gotten it. Handing it to Rene' I KNOW they got it.

You are a inspiration to all who have disabilities with God's Spirit in your heart and willingnest to help others out. God bless you and I pray that God would grant you an opportunity to meet Celine.

I did provide a couple of addresses a few posts up that you could have someone write to to get an autograph.

That's not exactly what happened.

There were no tickets given out to go to the soundcheck.

There were quite a few forum members invited to go into the soundcheck. Also, the Red Heads invited the forum to participate, but unfortunately there were communication issues so as a result of a miscommunication, only the Red Heads and those they invited were allowed to participate- Celine's team were open to many more fans going to the soundcheck! Maybe next time many more fans can also participate in a soundcheck.

But we did not get to "meet" Celine at the soundcheck. It was incredible and we got group photos made with her, but no Meet N Greets!

Also, I think a lot of people are under the assumption that this was a last minute thing with the Red Heads. I do believe they had this in place and scheduled and confirmed for well over a year, so it's not like they begged for it in Vegas and it was granted to only them and they shoved other people aside to do the soundcheck "just for them".  

We were out of the soundcheck at 6:30...Celine had rushed off to get ready for the show- she still needed to do full makeup and hair. So I say all this to say that it wasn't because of the soundcheck that she ran out of time, or that because the Red Heads and other fans were at the soundcheck that she ran out of time- she has to do a soundcheck no matter what, we were just there to watch. The photos took like 5 minutes- they had us in place and waiting in posed position for like an hour for her haha- so all she did was walk down say hi and sit and take the photos.

So I'm not sure why she had no time to meet with you that day, and it truly breaks y heart, and like I said, that should never have happened- he never should have said and told you to wait and be ready by the doors if it weren't going to happen. Someone should have found a way to make it happen because that's completely unacceptable. BUT it wasn't because of the soundcheck and it wasn't because of the Red Heads, that's for sure!

I know this may ruffle some feathers, but I am a "FAN".  I align myself with the truth whenever possible and I want to be friends with all fan groups- there shouldn't have to be fan groups, we should all just get along. Anyway, we can't blame the Red Heads for this! And quite honestly, they DID invite the entire forum but like I said, unfortunately we misunderstood their offer and turned them down.
