I think a lot of you guys are being greedy asking poor Céline for an autograph.  Why do you want an autograph so bad?  Like I said before, I recieved a letter from her team and all I got was a postcard that was from the french album cover and it wasn't autographed, and do you think I was disappointed?  Heck mo I wasn't disappointed at all!!!!!!!! I was glad to be getting something from the team in care of Céline.  I don't care for an autograph from the best selling female artist of all time, and neither should you guys who think it's sooooooooooooooooooooooo important to get one.  That's all I have to say about that.

to some people its a nice thing to have..its not something you get everyday..and its something perosnal that someone who means alot to you..(for whatever reason) has given to you. It takes her like what a minuet to sign maybe two autographs. And celine herselfs knows it means alot to some people who maybe cant get to see her show.. will never see her..meet her.. its just a little token. fair enough your happy with out one... but  i dont think by people witting to her..whever they ask for one or not are being greddy. if you do it mulitple times then yes.

If I don't get it... it's ok. Celine is busy, she receives a lot of mail everyday. But I think it is ok to dream of something like this. Why not?

What's the problem about asking her for autograph? It's not like we write a letter saying: hey celine I love you can you give me an autograph?
In my case, my letter was so long I was afraid anyone would finish reading it LOL and only in the end of 3 pages I was asking if please she could take 2 seconds to sign my show ticket.
What's the problem about that? This autograph thing is like a bonus after all.
And in my case it's not the first time that I write her and won't be the last. And I'm not asking autographs every time.

Hey, I don't think it's rude or greedy whatever you think it is. I think if you think this way, you have the right to see things this way, but I don't think you have the right to "judge" people who think different from you. I don't see anything wrong with that. Celine is an artist - it's normal, she enjoys that, she likes it, she has said that many times.  She knows that someone will be very happy having her autograph and that makes her happy too.

In my opinion, rude - greedy or whatever you see that - is someone who asks her autograph like everyday, all the time.... and I think there's nobody here like that.

Asking Celine for an autograph means when love her and love her work and her respect and we'd love to have a souvenir from her. That's how I see this autograph thing.
Asking for one autograph is ok, it's a part of being a fan, there is nothing wrong about it.

I didn't know so many opinions would be stated about this autograph issue.  I have to say, I don't think people are greedy either.  We all are here because we love Celine and her work.  We want just a piece of her, to connect.  She has shown that she is fine with that, by how incredibly sincere and generous of a person she is.  Just look at her recent book, "For Keeps".  She included so many copies of personal items for her fans to enjoy.  Not many people would have done that....To show so many personal things.  So if someone asks for an autograph, I think she is still flattered, and would try to do her best to do what her time allows.  I am glad to hear people have had responses from her after writing, even if it does take 6 months or so.

I am not jealous about not having her autogtaph.  I also think it's wonderful that people write her and tell her what an incredible job she has done and that they want her autograph.  Don't get me wrong about that.  Let's get onto a different subject about recieving a response from Céline or her team.

When I recieved the letter from her team, I was excited as heck to be getting a letter.  I wish I could have her autograph, but like I said before, I don't care about that.  All I DO care about is that her team took the time to writee a letter on her behalf saying that she sends her "thoughts and prayers."  That's all I have to say about that.

I don't think it's being greedy to ask for an autograph. I mean like you get one and then you ask and expect more from her then that's being greedy. A person who didn't even get one yet, I think it's rude to call them "greedy" Merely asking for one doesn't cross the line. Celine totally understands why fans request them. I'm sure she received thousands of letters..

All of this happened after my post, so let me say that I didn't write to her just to ask an autograph, I wrote a letter telling about my feelings and love for her and there was no ask, from me, for any sign from her. But I believe every Celine fan would be proud and happy receiving an autograph, that is a small gift from someone you love and admire for so long. It woud not be, for me, an autograph from the best selling female artist of all time, it would be something from a person that I love for almost 10 years and so many things more...
And I believe Celine would be happy, even not reading, receiving so many letters from her fans. This shows her how people love her so much!!

I don't think it's greedy, after all most singers love it, it's a huge compliment! It's saying that you love them and you admire them so much that you want a marking to remember them.

I wrote to her once and I only THE dreaded letter from the fan club saying she was too busy.
