C’est la chanson "A Paris…" écrite par Francis Lemarque et naguère interprétée par Yves Montand qui sera la chanson officielle des Jeux Olympiques si Paris l’emporte. Cette mélodie a été choisie par le maire de la capitale, Bertrand Delanoë. La chanson sera réinterprétée par Céline Dion. Elle sera accompagnée des "500 Choristes" déjà réunis par le producteur, DMLSTV, pour des émissions de variétés sur TF1 dont la dernière en date a damé le pion au "Grand Cabaret" de Patrick Sébastien, sur France 2. Les producteurs ont préféré Céline Dion à une chanteuse française à cause de son rayonnement international. Le disque sortira chez Sony.
