Anyway, not to get hopes up, but there is another article how she stated to reporters on Saturday that there is a possibility that she would like to return to the Colosseum one day, maybe after a baby and that she would like to try acting. After watching the AND...Secrets on the DVD, I get the impression that AND... belongs to all the promoters, contracts were signed, etc, and the fella said something like 'it's not the end of AND..., but a transformation..." blah blah blah. I don't think it would ever be the same, but who knows. Or maybe that's just me getting all worked up over the idea of some type of Celine show in the future.

I think we'll also be hearing about many people going to Las Vegas and getting disappointed that Celine is no longer there. There are many people who have heard of the show and want to see her, but because they are not die-hard fans lik us, they don't realize that the show is over. Ok...they must have their heads in the sand you say, and you're right! But there are going to be many of them like that, and so if there is money to be made again in Las Vegas, it will happen! But I hope many of you like myself would like to see Celine take some time off after the tour to enjoy the less hectic side of life, perhaps have another child if it's in the stars, and get that clothesline up in the backyard for the birds to sit on and sing to her. Did you all see that one reporter at the press conference who gave her a gift box with all the workings of a clothesline inside?? That was so sweet! "The Woman who Changed the Face of Vegas Returns".......she could do ONLY weekend shows. I could certainly see that happening.

We were talking to his wife and she talked a great deal about that fact. Celine and Rene have intentions on returning to Vegas in 2010-2011. With the qualifier "if all else goes as planned." The woman was born to entertain, but I certainly wouldn't travel to see her. So, I personally don't see her pulling in the massive crowds that Celine did. But I do see her show being popular among people already visiting Vegas.

It'll probably be like a concert. And if it's not until 2009 or 2010 she might perform at one of the other theaters that AEG Live will be operating when they're built. Who knows? But I wouldn't rule out Better Midler's ability to entertain and throw on a great show. I just don't think she is as well known as Celine in the international market that's all.
