When Celine sing about death, she sounds amazingly. like Vole, My Way on a funeral, songs on Simply Marney show.

In "L'abondon" she makes more than direct allusions about having multiple orgasms. I agree, she should sing about sex more, especially in English.

 

I wish her new English album would mix Shakira's "Oral Fixation" and Robbie's "Intensive Care" into a Céline dion mix and her amazing voice.

 

Oh,. and she should cover Tracy Champan's "Why" for this album to be original and show off what she really thinks about this "Wonderful World":

I like her songs about love but I think Céline must be more diversified about that subject. I know her life is not easy so why not talk about many subject like yes love, but sadness, friendship, depression, anger(I remember the Céline anger in the katrina subject), the lack of affection, etc. Since at the end of all, the love is about all that. Also there are many ways to said love, in a more deeply way like in her french music. I wish she can sing so freely and as deeply as she does in french because I love her english music too.

By the way even if she starts to sing more about undevided love it will be something new for her also. She sings too many about happy love stories...

 

On the other hand she'd be good in funny-style songs, something like Shania Twain's "No one needs to know right now". Something sarcastic.

Yeah, I'd like her to tap into her 'darker' emotions. She's got to have them, but she chooses to be nice and happy and cheery. She does this consciously, but I'd like her to sing songs that are more serious and perhaps 'socially' thought-provoking.

 

What is Celine like when she's lonely, depressed, helpless, sad, melancholy, driven, mad-as-hell-and-not-going-to-take-it-anymore...stuff like that. She needs to spend a few days with Pink, Sarah, Jann Arden, Paul McCartney (really amazing duet potential with Paul, don't ya think?)...
