I went to see the show twice, once at the first mezzanine and once at the 4th row front stage... My friend and I met a few dancers, a few musicians and we even spoke to Michel Dion... The show was just wonderful and I love A new day has come to be introducing the show... I loved Nature Boy but ANDHC is just the perfect song to begin the show... She had those long curly hair and she looked beautiful with so much energy... she made me laugh, she made me cry and smile... wowww that was wonderful! I really loved this version of I'm alive... you know at the end of the song when the dancers leave the stage, in between the lyrics, she just tell them " give me your number, I'll call you after the show..." Seduces me was just sensual and beautiful!!! All those men dancing around her... Instrumental of If I could was the Miracle version... so soft, filled with lot of emotions... At the end she finishes with Happy Xmas ( war is over) instead of What a wonderful world... there are a lot of other things to say about everything... I will continue my review later... In the meantime I will go back to bed ( it's 04:40 am here and I guess I got difficulties to sleep because I'm still at Vegas time lol) This was just to get started with it... Quote

I think that's the best way to begin the show ... As usual you hear the glass break and immediately the first notes..." A new day has come... a new day has... come... then comes the piano... ... and the chorus sings again while the guitar comes.. a new day has come... a new day has... all this while you see Céline's silhouette appears on the big screen getting down the stairs...and there she appears , beautiful as always. She begins the song and walk slowly to the front of the stage. Actually this version is shorter than the album version... while she gets to the front of the stage, the dancers appear as well and they walk slowly from the side in Céline's direction... when the song ends a very few of them are close to Céline... this is, I guess, so that one of them gets her black dress that she removes after the song... Her voices was just perfect on that song, I've nothing to say except that I felt so much filled with emotion that tears came up... tears of joy, I guess... About Happy Xmas... the song starts with guitar ... on the first night , when we heard the guitar beggining I didn't even recognize the song... of course, I was expecting What a wonderful world...what a great surprise this was... they kept on taking pictures of people in the audience as usual at the ending song... and you know the funny thing is that on the second night when we were at 4th row, I saw my face appeared on the screen right behind Céline ... you know this can sound really stupid to everybody who will read this... but that made me happy, and well, I was surprised to see Céline and me right behind lolllllllllll it made me laugh... the version of this song is quite different than the version on the Xmas album, it sounds more " acoustic" and I think it was shorter... and it ends on Céline and her chorists singing together Bellamy, I hope this is what you expected... I talked with a few dancers and one of them was taking 2 of his friends backstage after the show... I then asked him if he would accept that we accompany them and he kindly accepted...we went through those white corridors... he showed us without entering, of course, Céline's dressing room, the dancers' dressing room... he showed us also the place where all the costumes where getting ready... he then took us under the stage where some of the musicians were performing and then, we went on the stage... And that moment was so impressive ... we were there, walking where Céline was performing... we were watching all those 4100 seats empty... I mean... this was unexpected... we were, my friend and I, like in a dream ... Also, at that time you realize how those 5.8 degrees are a lot on stage and how this can be painful when you dance there 5 days a week ... all this was too fast ... it's almost like we entered and were out 2 minutes after... I still can't believe it... My feelings after all what happened is that I hope to go back in Vegas soon to see the show again... I mean I love plenty of shows, of music but A New Day is just the perfect combo of all what I can dream to see on stage... my favorite number one singer, a group of dancers, visuals that are just incredible... everything filled with music, emotions, which make my cry and laugh ... there's not enough words to describe how I feel about it... it's just About The first time ever I saw your face... unfortunately, it hasn't been back yet and I really don't understand why it was removed... maybe because it caused lot of problems when the dancers needed to fly? Well, I don't know... One thing is that as a french speaking fan... I think, they should seriously think of adding a french song of Céline... this is missing to the show eventough it is performed in Las Vegas... I dream to see her performing Pour que tu m'aimes encore... maybe one day???? Quote
